Re: Week 2 Marietta 1-0 @ Parkersburg 0-1

westbrook18, why o why do you throw gas on the flame? Yeah its WVa, but a quality player is a quality player no matter where he plays. This kid can flat play period. I am a Ohio guy and will root for the Ohio team. But this guy will get his yards. This will be the first real test for the Tigers &qu...

Re: Week 2 Marietta 1-0 @ Parkersburg 0-1

The Parkersburg running back might be good, but he's still competing against West Virginia schools. And he's playing for a West Virginia school. That in my mind automatically gives Marietta the upper hand. Unless Parkersburg has improved 180 degrees since last year, they shouldn't do much.

Re: Week 2 Warren @ Morgan

i look to see the warriors run all over the raiders just like marietta did...they will be running with two backs instead of just one if pritt doesn't eat popcorn before the game again ....i don't think morgan will throw for 200 against the warriors because of all the pressure they are getting up fr...

I'd say this game is close until the 3rd quarter. Then Marietta pulls away. They get a chance to work on their passing game after that. Go Tigers!

Re: Marietta vs Morgan Week 1

I see Marietta handling them pretty easily. I hope they get a chance to work on things they need to improve on this game, to get ready for the weeks ahead in the SEOAL.

Re: 2009 SEOAL Previews: Marietta Tigers

I believe that the skilled players they have this year could be very versatile and effectively run multiple formations. I can see potential in spread option, i-backs, i-pro, etc. The question would be how good of shape they are in, but it sounds like they have been working hard. The different styles...

Re: 2009 SEOAL Previews: Marietta Tigers

Thanks noreply. But despite losing a lot of talent, this year they have an easier non-league schedule. This may help them to have a better record than previous years.

Thanks Coach. It was a good way to go out. And thank you too, noreply. Hopefully the SEOAL can keep being represented well at the state meet. I know it's definitely improved since I started out as a freshman.

OSU redshirts throwers 95 percent of the time. Makes sense, as they get older they get stronger.

Very nice facility. Glad it was put in by my senior year. It's weird to be completely finished with the SEOAL. It was a fun time and I'll miss it very much. Good luck in the future, hopefully it stays running strong. Oh and noreply I jumped 6'10" in the meet.
