Re: SEOAL Sport Trophy
I'm not sure about the girls situation but I think that Marietta boys will be the team to beat this year in track. They return a lot of points from last years league meet. This will only improve their chances of winning the very familiar All-Sports Award.

NCF, until your varsity team can hang with Logans JV, you cannot judge Logan.

Re: SEOAL All-League Honors
Zanesville was not at the meeting so I don't understand how they have players on the list. It's the rule that you cannot have all-league players if you aren't represented at the league meeting.

That was due to the fact that Zanesville did not show up.

Re: Round 2 (9-2) Trimble vs. (11-0) River At Marietta
Ok we concede, both these D6 teams bow down to the mighty Tigers of Marietta. They are so big and powerful that no D6 team could ever hope to compete with them. Hopefully some year they will win enough games against teams their own size to make the playoffs. If not, they could start scheduling all ...

Maybe you should be the coach. Chillicothe only gave him the ball twice when we upset them two seasons ago.

Re: WEEK 9 ~ Marietta AT PORTSMOUTH
The onside kicks were both when the game was relatively close. We did ride on the original school bus, we tried to get Charter buses but none were available. On the way down we had to stop at two rest areas to get out and walk around a little. How is Justin Smith doing now?

Re: WK 7 Logan (6-0) AT Marietta (2-4)
As many others have said, great post westbrook18. It's nice to see a well-spoken young man on here who cares so much about his team and the game of football. Good luck to you the rest of the season. Good luck to both teams on Friday night. Marietta has a lot of weapons on the offensive side of the ...

Re: WK 7 Logan (6-0) AT Marietta (2-4)
Great post Mr. Westbrook. I'm sure a lot of kids feel just the way you do at the end of their career. Thing is, it's fine to miss it but don't keep looking back. Life goes on and bring's other challenges. If you take on life like you do football, you'll do fine. Find some way to stay with the game....

Re: WK 7 Logan (6-0) AT Marietta (2-4)
That was a long bus ride. The teams are a little different this year than they were my freshman year but I'll agree to this Friday as being a double or nothing. Sitting in a bus for near 5 hours or whatever it was took a lot out of us, but I think we will be more ready this Friday night. I'm excited...

Re: WK 7 Logan (6-0) AT Marietta (2-4)
It sucks to think that it's week 7 of my senior year. A lot of kids talk about how they want highschool to be over and how they can't wait, but if it was up to me I'd rewind a few years. It has gone by fast and football for me is almost completely over. All the kids have put in so much time to be su...

Re: WK 7 Logan (6-0) AT Marietta (2-4)
Is Logan back to full health yet? Marietta will now have everybody back. Hopefully we can eliminate turnovers and mistakes and compete with the best team in the league. I'm glad to be playing Logan for the last time of my career, they've been a tough group since the first time I played them in 8th g...

Re: Ohio's Winningest Coach - Top 4
It seems like Lutz is pretty old school but it must win games. I have read that people disagree with his play calling this year. No disrespect to him but a Hall of Fame coach should be able to change up the offense when his old and trusty offense isn't working.

To make it more clear for other people the defender had a hold of me and I was about to go down but it was clear that my knee wasn't touching or anything.

Re: Coach's responsibility
Lastnight in my football game I was about to get tackled but pitched it to the fullback when I was still on my feet. The ref called me down and said I was in the grass. Is this not just an NFL rule?

Quit complaining fasteach. We don't need drama on the Meigs @ Warren forum. This isn't Meigs vs. Athens JV. Just root for your team this week and show some respect. Oh and if you haven't heard most people don't give a crap about JV.
