You can not believe it if you want, but it was the same scenario in '06. I know of all of this first hand. But what you have is coaches who want to keep te program in tact, but there's people behind the scenes who don't want it that way.

One thing to remember folks, is the head coach asked 'the powers that be' if he could pick his staff.. And that never happened. So, if any questions need to be directed at anyone,ask the people who don't want the football program have a chance to succeed..

Sort of late, but the one update I have is that DT Omar Hunter became the first to decommit from Notre Dame. Hunter is a 4-star recruit, and 4th best DT on Rivals...he is now choosing between 4 SEC teams...and from what I've heard he's leaning toward Florida. Five Star Kyle Rudolph ..........TE .......

Also, they are going to demolish and rebuild the front steps...which was needed no matter what happend to that building.

At this time, Charlie Weis and the rest of the Notre Dame coaching staff has 22 commits for the 2008 class. Recent additons include Gray and Robinson. Ironton has talked to Johnson Central about a game... Also two other teams called about playing-Wheeling Central (WV) and another high school from Canada.

The game will most likely be a home game, since Ironton only has 4 home games right now.
