Coach, do you think some *you-know-whats* got a little tight during the 9th inning last night? Two different pitchers and 11 pitches before throwing a single strike! Can't imagine the amount of pressure being felt there. The check swing ring-up on strike three was huge.

Best wishes to Post 21 tonight vs. Pickerington. Tonight's game will be only my second opportunity to have gotten to see the team play this summer. A great effort and win this evening could be a nice turning point for the team.

The Athens/Gallia game was suspended after three innings. At that point it was pretty even. Score was 1-1. Both pitchers had thrown 53 pitches. Gallia had one hit, Athens had three.

CoachB, I see your location is Chillicothe. Do you guys happen to have a 13U travel team in Chilli? I am trying to fill in our 13U schedule with a few double-headers between tournaments. I see on the Nations website that there is a 13U team listed, but there is no contact info. Thanks.

Young pitching staff with few Varsity innings coming into the season. A lot of question marks, but several quality athletes. Just hope to be able to compete this season.
