Re: Gallia Academy 2023
Athens had some speed on the jv team last year and most of their team was underclassmen. Mostly fresh I believe. They will be better this year. Portsmouth ALWAYS plays us close for sure!! Pt will prob dress 70 kids and will be better than expected I think. Fairland will be ready for a dogfight with ...

Re: Gallia Academy 2023
The senior QB started last year on both sides of the ball. But not at the QB spot. Actually has started since his freshman yr. 3 losses is possible but would feel like a let down. 14 seniors says a lot. Especially only a cpl years after playing with as few as 17 healthy players and starting the seas...

Re: Gallia Academy 2023
Did I see that there was in fact a change at QB? I have not heard. Working 6 days a week doesn’t leave much free time. To me it comes down to either getting an extra athlete on the field or starting each play with the ball in a proven playmaker’s hands with some varsity QB experience. Both will pro...

Re: 3.12.08 YOU MAKE THE CALL
Agree. Stay ahead of the chains and no dumb penalties or negative yardage plays. Ability and experience at QB would play a role in my play calling.LICKING COUNTY FAN wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2008 7:12 am With that much time left I am going to continue to run my normal offense and then put the game in the hands of the defense after we score.

Re: Gallia Academy 2023
I would be surprised if a senior doesn’t change positions from last year and start at QB. Very anxious to see what direction the offense moves toward this year. Lots of good options exist offensively. Should have the ability to be much more diverse. Is Rathburn currently the starter? “Probably” is ...

A lot of these guys have 30+ starts under their belt. Gallia shouldn’t surprise anyone that’s paid attention the past 2-3 seasons. As for the first game lol…. Track meet, again. Over by halftime.

Re: OTHER THAN IRONTON OR WHEELERSBURG
For galli, Cole Hines should be their best player, again. Not taking anything from anyone else but Hines has been Gallia’s most consistent player since his freshman season. Franklin has huge ability and will be as good as he chooses to be. Shamblins are both very hard nosed and talented, hopefully b...

I’m curious what is Woodward overall record and Pendletons? Seriously would love to know this. Woodward is 153-35 Pendleton is 56-11 Very similar results! Both are very very good at what they do! Both programs are extremely fortunate to have high quality head coaches. To me the advantage goes to Rob...

Re: Tanner on the move again, Marshall???
Buckeyes undoubtedly got worse as the season progressed. Tanners minutes dwindled as did the success of the bucks. Not saying tanner was the “glue”or anything close but the team definitely did not improve as the year progressed. Good coaches make their team better. Win or lose. Tanner is a competito...
