maintenanceman, I'll have to disagree that things should run through your star player. I know Wes is a good player and I'm not disagree with that, I'm disagreeing with the point that soccer is a team sport and should consist of the whole team. Wes Lyon has signed with Shawnee State. Heard that shawnee has got some interested people coming down to help improve their squad for the upcoming season

The obvious favorite in SOC I would have to be South Webster. They won the conference last year having 5 freshmen in the starting line up, although they lost 4 starters. I still see them as the favorites because New Boston finished second and I believe they were a "senior dominated" team. ...

osumufan, I was wondering the same thing... If they are just starting from scratch and are planning on having a high school with no youth programs then it could take a considerable amount of time to build up a good competitive program

I thought it to be a very poor second half showing by the bucks. They dominated the majority of the first half and didn't show up at all to play in the second.

Pike Co. YMCA in Waverly will be having an upcoming session of Futsal, like indoor with boundaries. Help with footskills and passing alot. I believe they also will offer a spring league.... or at least they have the past two years.

First that I've heard about anyone every saying for them to start up a soccer program. Has there been any interest in the community to pursue this idea or is this just the belief of a small group?
