Re: Div 4 region 15
Points will shake out like this: 1 Ironton 8-2 2 Heath 9-1 3 Hartley 8-2 4. Coshocton 8-2 5. Highland 8-2 6. Alex 8-2 7. Amanda 7-3 9. Piketon West will be in the #5 spot even with the lose and believe it or not Portsmouth will still be in the top 10. Wilmington and Warren both had big point wins f...

We all hope it doesn't either FIDO, but look at the history of great athletic teams the Trojans have squandered.

Re: SEOAL: PORTSMOUTH (3-4,2-2) VS GALLIA ACADEMY(5-2,2-1)
TFBA; I respect your opinion on a lot of your post and agree with most. I'm not blaming the coach's for everything with this team. I know the old saying coach's don't make tackles, score TD's, so on and so forth. But, over the course of this year I have seen the following from the sideline. 1. Not e...

Re: SOC2 Lucasville Valley (7-0) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
I think both will still be in the playoffs, but West will take a huge hit losing Pendleton. My prayers go out to that young man.

Re: Keep Trevon Pendleton in your thoughts.
This is a fine young man and it's tears me up to see this picture. I have seen the work this kid has put in over the last couple of years working for a dream of college football. I wish him all the best and pray that god sees him through this hardest of times. He will need his family and friends now...

Re: SEOAL: PORTSMOUTH (3-4,2-2) VS GALLIA ACADEMY(5-2,2-1)
That was the worst prepared team by the coach's I've seen at Portsmouth in a long time. And this defense may be the worst I've seen in a long time. We don't tackle well nor do we fire off the ball on either line. Teams can run right up the middle and off tackle and the holes are always there for our...

Re: WEEK 8 - PORTSMOUTH (3-4,2-2) VS GALLIA ACADEMY(5-2,2-1)
I would agree with TFBA that the 5-2 is not the right fit for this group. I also agree that we are not playing our positions. I said it above our DL catches people and doesn't fire off the ball as does our OL. Our DE are undersized but have a tendency of allowing the opposition to get the corner. If...

Re: SEOAL: Portsmouth 2-4 @ Marietta 2-4
Portsmouth in WK 7 still isn't playing their best ball. We gave up 2 easy scores to Marietta that are not acceptable in WK 7. With all the flaws this teams has shown this season they are right in the playoff hunt at 3-4. Next week vs Gallia is the biggest game of the year for the Trojans. Mason Jord...

Re: SEOAL: Jackson (4-1, 2-0) at Portsmouth (2-3, 1-1)
our schedule speaks for itself no doubt, with only 2 wins, and 3 losses we was still at 8 ...if we could have won last night we could have moved as high as 3 I think. so when you lose starters these games are very hard to win. I still know, these kids will come back and ready to go at it next week an...

Re: SEOAL: Jackson (4-1, 2-0) at Portsmouth (2-3, 1-1)
It's easy to bang of the Trojans now and some will do just that. But our defense has not played well all year against a good running team. We also get no cupcake schedule to get any of our kids healthy. We have about 7 kids that play both ways and never come off the field. Here is a break down of wh...

Re: SEOAL: Jackson (4-1, 2-0) at Portsmouth (2-3, 1-1)
Portsmouth Trojans will be without their starting QB,and without their Back up Q B , they will have a frehsman playing QB,that has never played Varsity. on top of that they have 3 other starters out, including the startiing running back This is not true at all. I don't know where your info comes fro...

Re: Week 5 - Portsmouth(2-2) vs. Chillicothe(0-4)
Cavs defense has given up over 1000 yds rushing...126 points.... ( average of 250 + rushing and 32.5 points per game ) and has given up ( guessing here ) 400 yards passing and at least 4 aerial TDs....Offense has run ball well at times...passing game very difficult because of sack after sack..avera...

Re: Week 5 - Portsmouth(2-2) vs. Chillicothe(0-4)
Lol. Are you guys seriously comparing Jordan to Myers? And saying that Jordan throws the deep ball better than Myers is a complete joke. How many times has Myers missed on the deep ball against quality opponents this year? No offense to the kid but he played against Warren who was down right terrib...

Re: Paladin's Pigskin Picks -- Wk 5
Don't see it , 02. Gallia has beat 1-3 Athens, 1-3 Hillsboro, 1-3 Wellston and 2-2 Marietta. Jackson has lost to 1-3 Wellston and wins over 0-4 Waverly, 0-4 Logan and 1-3 Vinton County. Portsmouth is more respectable with a schedule but still has two losses and must play Jackson, Gallia & Iront...

Ironton is starting to come together after some early season struggles. The Tigers win this one, but Gallia gives them some fits. Ironton by a score with the home field advantage Ironton 30 Gallia 22.

Re: Week 5 Oak Hill @ Minford
This should be a great game I wish it was a Sat game so the rest of the area could see it. I think it's a must win if the Oaks want to make the playoffs. A loss and I don't think they get in at 9-1, I believe the Falcons end the Oaks chances.

Re: Week 5 - Warren (3-1, 0-1) @ Jackson (3-1, 1-0)
Warren's lack of speed really surprised me last week, but if the young QB get's in sync with those WR this could be a good game. I still think the home teams pulls this one out and sets the stage for a big game in WK 5 if the Trojans can win at Chilly.
