Re: Can Chillicothe Beat Logan Elm?

The school tried to get buses to take up students last game. My brother, who still attends CHS, said tht they offerred a bus and only 2 kidssigned up. The adult fans came in bunches, even though they could have been louder. The administration tried. The students just don't care for some reason. They...

Re: Marietta vs. Chillicothe at the Convo on 3/13

Game Day. Let's go Cavs. Come out with intensity and DO NOT overlook the tigers. They are a capable team and we are vulnerable if we come out flat. All the talk about L.E. means nothing if we don't take care of business tonight. Play tough pressure D and convert that into points on the offensive end...

Re: Can anyone stop Logan Elm from making it to the Final Four ?

Yes Dover went down in OT. I would have given them the second best chance to beat the braves before the Schottenstein center. IMO the Chillicothe Cavaliers still have better than a 50-50 shot to beat L.E. but IMO no one else can.

Re: Can anyone stop Logan Elm from making it to the Final Four ?

I'd say that truthfully after seeing all teams remaining in the SE district that the ONLY teams that have a legit opportunity to beat LE are Chillicothe and Dover. Hillsboro has streaks of greatness and may hang with the Braves for a while but will undoubtedly dissapear for a 5 minute stretch and al...

Re: Portsmouth Basketball 2009-10

I hate to say this because, although I am a Chillicothe Fan, I root for our down south rivals, but untill Portsmouth gets a coach that knows that a ball is round and it goes in the hole, they will be in the same boat Chillicothe was in throughout the 90's and the first half of the 2000's. They will,...

Re: Warren vs. Chillicothe @ the convo 3/5 8PM

I just want to say that, I have seen A LOT of schols play this year. Big ones, small ones, and "how is there a school this tiny" ones. Chillicothe has THE WORST SUPPORT of any school I've seen all year, and they are THE BEST TEAM I've seen all year. Small schools with classes of 40 or 50 h...

Re: Warren vs. Chillicothe @ the convo 3/5 8PM

Cavs started out very workman like. Turner missed some 3's early but they were good looks in a new building and I'll take those shots. They looked disinterested at times but managed to fight through the adversity. They got big contributions from Ron Smith, Mike Turner, and my player of the game, Cal...

Re: All/SEOAL

WOW. Shocked at the POY's. Angle is a nice player but football season is over. Prati was no doubt the best AND most important player in the entire league. The comment about Van Volkinburg being most improved was dead on. IMO Williams is a great player, but not so far ahead that he deserved to win it...

I cannot wait to go down to athens and watch this game. talk about a david and golith. warren has their spirits running high after beating the cavs once. no doubt chilli will be more ready this time and i assume running on all cylinders. as someone already mentioned i would also love to see warren v...

Re: Chillicothe 83 - Northwest 38

Despite the score I didn't think the Cavs played their best game last night. They didn't play bad but you could tell at the beginning of the game that the intensity wasn't as high as it could be. They did a great job on defense and when they weren't on the run, did well in setting up in the half cou...

Re: Who's the real Tigers? McClain vs. Waverly in Sectional dual

Was at this game and can I just say WOW. Whenn Waverly had about a 3 point lead around halftime, I leaned over to the person next to me and sai, "If Waverly starts taking advantage of their size or McClain starts making their shots, either one of them will pull away. Neither one is playing well...

Re: North Adams vs Portsmouth

Nice shot at a tough team Portsmouth. This Chilli fan was pulling for you guys big time. I think that some valid points were made though about the level of comp. When a team that finishes in the bottom of the SEOAL with 2 or 3 wins takes an undefeated team from another league to OT, there is definat...

Re: SEOAL - All League Team

My Vote goes for Caleb Knights. He is not the most explosive scorer and his stats don't WOW you but he plays great defense and IMO was the unquestioned leader for the Cavs this year. The Cavs were such a balanced team though so we could just say... "South Division POY- Chillicothe Defense"...
