Vote online for Janet Brown

Lori Brownstead has lined her son, Beau's, school nurse Janet Brown up with a sweet opportunity that we all can help become a reality. Because Janet has been so above-board kind to Beau and his diabetic condition, Lori wrote a letter entering Janet's caring nature in a contest...and Janet made the f...

Re: Shane Jones helped inspire change in outlook

Shawn,

You made him. So, don't thank me. I thank you!

And I will continue to do so every time the vibe hits me.

Sorry I didn't give you a heads-up. My old cell phone died and I lost your number. Send it to me.

Re: Adam Dunn Rejects Riccardi's Apologies

Pete whizzed all over himself and has no one but himself to blame. Flaunting rules posted in every MLB clubhouse, and then lying about it in the face of overwhelming evidence for decades before finally caving in and confessing (which probably means hes not sorry for what he did; just sorry that he g...

I know I read that short-story by King at least 18 years ago....and it is just now becoming a movie! The creative fluids in Hollywood must have a clogged artery.

Re: Two openings left for Yahoo fantasy baseball League

XandOs,

Is it legal to allow Stewy into our league since he quit SEOP, stomped off to his room and held his breath until he turned purple? As commissioner, you need to consider such issues.

:-D :-D :-D :-D

Re: Congrats to Chillicothe DIV II STATE CHAMPS!!!

That was an awesome clutch performance in the waning seconds, especially on the heels of that "charge" against Hitchens that swayed the momentum BIG TIME to Libbey.

One of the best games I've ever watched. Congrats Chillicothe!!!!

Re: GOOD NEWS POST (just for the whiners)

That was an awesome game! Congrats to Chillicothe. I talked Stewy off of a bridge today with a Giovanni's pizza and a loaf of Heiner's bread. He even ditched the "Newark Catholic Fan says world is coming to an end" sign he had around his neck. I think we made progress. More news when he is...

Say it ain't so, Stewy. Say it ain't so! If it is positives you are looking for, remember that you actually graduated from high school (now that is a minor miracle)....if you drop another 10 pounds you will be at an even 300....the creator of Spellcheck did it just for you ....you are finally able t...

Re: Boys Regional Semi Finals: Fairland vs. Sugarcreek Garaway

Great final game tonight from Dustin Bumgardner (16 points, 8 in the 4th quarter and was 6-6 in free throws and had 3 steals). Also impressive was the defense of Cole Hatfield, Matt Bloomfield and Michael Lamb. Lamb had 8 steals. Hatfield and Bloomfield put some really strong pressure on the Pirates...

Re: Stephen King and John Mellencamp Create Musical

I wonder what the songs will be.

"Hurts so Good" seems to fit really well here.

Maybe:
"Hack-n-die Ann"
"Ain't that a Massacre"
"Little dead spouses"
"D-E-A-D in the USA"

Kudos to Stewy for the timely comment that made me blow my drink out of my nose. A tip of the hat to you, my portly little buddy.
