Re: #6 Sheridan vs. #2 Granville

Through 9 weeks according to the Zanesville TR:
Sheridan had 1820 passing yards w 19 tds and 4 bits
Sheridan had 1565 rushing yards w 30 tds

Heller areas #1 passer, Rhodes #1 receiver with 47 catches for over 900 yards and 10 scores.

Leading rusher only had 424 yards at that point.

Re: #6 Sheridan vs. #2 Granville

Sheridan is similar to Jackson with a strong run game. Granville will shut them down. Still, probably a close game. Aces are the pick. Made it back home to watch Sheridan play a few times this fall, this assessment isn't even remotely close to accurate. They operate out of the gun with mostly 3, 4,...

Re: The end of the TVC Hocking?

I'm not saying football should go anywhere, actually the opposite, they should fight to keep it. Re: The end of the TVC Hocking?

I personally don't see any of the school mentioned actually losing their football program. Numbers in the program always have their ups and downs. Even if schools can field 15-20 on the roster, they will play the games. Football games bring in revenue. Even if your numbers are down, chances are, th...

Heard Sheridan (my alma mater) was up 47-0 on Fairfield Union (coached by one of my best friends) at halftime. That was according to a Facebook post last night, not sure how accurate

Caldwell held their own against Belpre and Williamstown, our QB was good.
Tanner is a competitor, he'll only continue to get better. Athletic, tough and a great kid.

Re: D3 Southeast Sectional!!!

A little information on Crooksville. They have 7 wins, only 3 in the MVL, but they play everyone tough. They lost two tight ones with D2 Sheridan (15-3) that could have gone either way. They beat an 11 win D2 Maysville squad who thumped Vinton County by 20. We scrimmaged them this year, they're almo...
