Re: SEOAL 2008-2009

ZBD, already thinking of going over and watching the two Harris boys this season, that would be fun if it happens.

Re: SEOAL 2008-2009

Army, Calm down ole boy. Pleaseeeeee, go back and read the post again. If I'm out of line in saying that I think ZHS "should contend" for a second straight SEOAL title, than sorry to ruffle your feathers. It really was a pretty mild statement, don't ya think? IMO, that moving up to D-1 and...

Re: SEOAL 2008-2009

I here they went to the WVU camp because of the relationship between Huggs and Aronhalt. I know Charlie and he thinks alot of Aronhalt. Should be a real good experience for ZHS.

Re: SEOAL 2008-2009

It a shame Zanesville isn't still in D-2 (as they should be). This year's team would make some serious noise. If this team grows through the summer as it should, it should contend for it's second straight SEOAL title.

Re: SEOAL 2008-2009

I think Z-ville will again be the one to beat in the North again. Add in the fact that they had a pretty good reserve team plus Pratti and Mills, then Aronhalt's preparation, I think Z-ville will do just fine. I don't think either Z-ville or Chillicothe will (obviously) have the great teams of last ...

Re: OSU needs Anthony Hitchens

Just my opinion, but OSU just signed a couple of stud guards to play next year, I think Hitchens would get lost in the shuffle @ OSU. At Akron, he'll get a chance to grow and improve as a player. I think (from the outside looking in) Akron probably was a great choice!

Re: SEOAL 2008-2009

ZBD, glad to here the kids are already going at it. I would imagine that with the disappointing tourney run, they will have a chip on their shoulders heading into next season. I would love to see Pratti grow another couple of inches and get stronger and alittle quicker. (Wow, he would be a force). T...

Re: Gary Kellough

Is it tacty to ask what Kellough's record was At Zane Trace? And why ZT did not renew his contract? I think his legacy as a coach is off to a great start @ Chillicothe, but he has to sustain the program by developing the kids coming up though the system. From what I seen, Kellough is a very solid co...

Re: State Tourny Overrated......?

As a Zanesville fan, we would gladly trade the League banner for a State Championship banner. This is Newark and Chillicothe's day, it just wasn't meant to be for us. As hard as I rooted for both teams yesterday, deep in our hearts of all Zanesville fans, were the would've, could've, and SHOULD'VE f...

Re: Congrats to Chillicothe DIV II STATE CHAMPS!!!

From another Zanesville fan, Congratulations. As hard as I cheered against the Cav's against Zanesville this year, i was cheering just as hard for them to win today. Great game, great win, what a gutsy performace.

What a game C. knights played. Beverly, Knights, Dawes can be called role players, but Wow, what role players they are. Great game Chillicothe!

Re: State Finals Chillicothe vs. Libby

Chambers has to get better position in the post offensively. He's strong enough, he's looks a little tired and frustrated. Chillicothe has shot the ball well from the outside, but the lack of inside threat has allowed TL to really get aggressive on the perimeter.

Re: Zanesville's Logan Aronhalt: 1st team D-1 All Ohio

Guys I will tell ya this! As disappointing of a lose it was to lose to chillicothe @ home, in a game many Z-ville faithful feel got away from them (more so Hitchens just took it), the Newark lose in the Tourney was devastating. The main reason was No 1, we had a double digit lead in the second half ...

Re: #2 Chillicothe vs. #1 Poland Seminary........State-Semifinal

The 1st thing I notice about the starting line up for Poland is the scoring averages. As a team don't they average over 80 points? If so, the starting line up only averages about 48 of the 80 or so points. That's 30 points from the bench, Wow. It's hard to imagine Hitchens getting tired, I've seen h...

Re: Chillicothe 71, Meadowbrook 47 at Athens

To Army, Hitchbone, Dshanton, and all other Cav's fans that has posted all year long. Congratulations, ya stuck by this team and defended this team, and this is what it's all about. Hope you all have an enjoyable time in the final four and good luck to the Cav's. I really believe they can win this t...
