Re: JH Girls SHAC Tourney

because all schools did not have 7th grade teams, some teams in the big school played small schools twice. EB beat Fairfield in the scheduled league game. Fairfield beat EB in the non-league game. With the tourney championship game, Fairfield won 2 of 3.

Re: JH Girls SHAC Tourney

But you were the one who said they were 10-0 heading into the SHAC tourn. in your first post. Pretty sure EB won the regular season match up

my bad, I see what you are saying. Records can be deceiving, but strength of schedule should be considered in the seeding

Re: D4 Sectional Girls Northwest outlook and seeds

no way they play a better schedule. Fairfield plays Southeastern(Ross)(Skeens), Cedarville(who will be #1 seed in Dayton), WCH, Greenfield, Eastern Brown, North Adams twice, Lynchburg-Clay, Clermont Northeastern, All DII or DIII. Also, Fayetteville twice, Ripley,Peebles. That is a tough schedule

Re: D4 Sectional Girls Northwest outlook and seeds

Fairfield 75 @Paint Valley 67 should be enough to move Fairfield to #4 seed. 6 wins in a row. @ west Union 1/26

Re: D4 Sectional Girls Northwest outlook and seeds

Fairfield is now 5-7. Killer schedule for them. WCH, Southeastern(Chilly), Cedarville(best team we have faced),Eastern Brown, North Adams(2) and Waverly, could have won. Jr. Grace Shope scored her 1,000 point on Saturday. Could be a tough out.

Re: A early look at 2017 SHAC

No problem. Enjoy reading your early look at the SHAC. Having been to quite a few SHAC last year, your assessment is spot on. Fairfield boys are strong (4th at state XC), and look for Eastern Brown and Fairfield to battle for the girls.

Re: WK7 Hillsboro (1-5) @ Clinton-Massie (5-1)

CM destroys another cut-n-run team from the SCOL, and Hillsboro is quite a bit larger. Might get to 80.

Re: WK7 Washington (5-1) @ Wilmington (5-1)

Cane will name the score. Another cut-n-run team from the SCOL. C.H. one of the worst 5-1 teams around for their size. Cant compete with the big boys, or small boys, as CM showed them.

Re: Boys Team Times

I think if you refer to the by their name, Eastern Brown, people would know,oh thats the school in the eastern part of Brown County, dont see how you or anyone can confuse that with any other team in the state of Ohio.

Re: Boys Team Times

There are no such teams called Sardinia or Leesburg. They would be Eastern Brown and Fairfield Local. Just like everyone else, call them by their school name, not just a town within the school district.

Re: SCOL Expanding?

Abe, if for some reason CM/Wilmington would leave, I feel a great option would be for the SCOL/SVC consider a merger and go big/small. EC (a former SVC member back in the 70's) and McClain would fit in the small school, and then you could look at adding schools like Jackson at that point.
