Re: SOC 1-2 scrimmages today , this weekend ?
Didn't say anything about ZT ace at all. Great young lady and utmost respect for Morgan. Love watching her go about her preparation and the way she plays the game. The ZT coach and I talked that we were going to work on situations for game preparations. As Morgan approached with two outs and runners...

Re: SOC 1-2 scrimmages today , this weekend ?
Don't take much into the Zane Trace vs. Jackson score. Remember these are scrimmages and a coach can get many things out of these. Jackson played a ten inning scrimmage on Thursday which they gave up 0 RUNS at Marshall University, they then travel to Zane Trace this evening to get additional looks, ...

Re: Chillicothe looking for a Thur Scrimmage
Hey Cutekid, We are looking for an extra scrimmage, but we need to pass on this one for a couple reasons: # 1.) We are playing at Marshall University that day @ 12:00 p.m. in Dot Hicks Stadium, AND # 2.) We will probably get enough of each other in 2 regular season games!!! ;-) BEST OF LUCK TO THE L...

Re: scrimmages dont mean much
Very fine player, put herself into positions to make plays.
Natural for hitters to be behind pitchers right now, Tough to simulate 43 ft. live pitching when you are an old-timer like myself. ;) I was happy with the way my hitters battle, very few strikeouts early for our hitters, I believe.

Notre Dame vs Jackson scrimmage -- March 23
What a great day for softball, bad thing is look like we might be force inside for next couple of days. LET'S HOPE NOT!!! I felt both Notre Dame and Jackson took advantage of good weather and very worth opponents. Game started with the first 2 innings of even Os for both teams, as the pitcher would ...

Re: scrimmages dont mean much
Please DON"T TELL my players that a scrimmage "DON'T MEAN MUCH"! I believe it is ALL about, "WHAT DOES A COACH WANT OUT OF IT>" We look at scrimmages as a chance to get mentally prepared for a gametime situation.. Anyone in Jackson that saw the first 7 innings would probably...

INCORRECT -- No Banner, and never was said OUTRIGHT... Only the fact that won the league for 1st time in 33 years.
Can't wait for the season to begin, things looked good today being outside.

Sharpie, You might know ALL, or NOTHING!!! I wish I could find your picks from last year's preseason. You picked us to finish last in 2012, but I'm THANKFUL we played the games for we rose to the TOP. With those results, I was hoping you put us their again, if results would be the same after playing...

Re: Division II sectional - Meigs
That was the POINT, as long as coaches control the seeding AND know what seed goes on which line, they have the power to dictate alot about the tournament match-ups.

The league could have very competetive contests ALL the way through every night, with every team. Saw much improved, young teams last year. All teams better come r...

Re: Ironladies Indoor Hitting League to start Oct. 23rd
Possibly, we have had a great turnout for this first session (17 teams of 3 members each) I will give these players first opportunities to return. Our schedule will limit us to how many teams we can open it up to. There will be info on SEOP about mid Dec. Also, hope to have some of the hitting leade...
