Trying to figure out how McDaniels was left off the list and Peebles only got 1 player voted on. NA, Manch, and Lynchburg all got 2 selections with respective records of 7-6, 6-7, and 7-6 in the league and 13-7, 8-12, and 13-7 overall compared to Peebles record of 8-5 league and 15-5 overall?

Didn't say they were happy to see the team lose, but maybe happy to finally see something done about a situation that frankly everyone is getting tired of. And as for the other players, no I'm sure they don't want to lose games obviously but maybe they are also getting tired of being talked about an...

I think that's what everyone thought last year too team real tree but not only did give Peebles give them everything they wanted, were it not for a couple lapses in good judgement they would have walked off the floor district champs.

I'm thinking they also only beat Fayetteville by 10 or 12 and Peebles blew them out bigtime. Go figure, but in this league as we've said many times, any thing can happen on any given night and often does!

Manch did barely get by NA last Saturday........they were down 23-8 at one point. An in and out 3 bomb by NA near the end would have tied it with just seconds to go.

Great game for Andy today and AJ Chamblin played real well also.

Agree with Tribe. Stay out of foul trouble, run the offenses and Andy Countryman needs to have a big game as he did today.

Yes, a lot of the coverage has to do with the coaches reporting, especially at the varsity level. Most of the local papers don't have people who can go cover every game so they depend alot on the coaches. Saw where the informer is wanting to hire someone from each of the 4 county schools.

I'm thinking there was an article just this week on the Eastern game and a pic of Andy Countryman. I know NA coaches call a lot of things in, which explains why they a lot of jr high coverage as well.

I think the Defender has been doing a much better job over the past few weeks. The past couple papers have had several pages of articles about games. The new sports guy seems to be a big fan of Adams County basketball and always has a lot of great things to say about the teams, not showing much bias...
