Re: Oak Hill @ South Webster 1/22 *updates tonight*

You guys are seriously crazy if you think East gets the two seed over South Webster. Right now they're both 10-5, with East beating them once at home and South Webster destroying them by 20+ on a neutral floor. So what warrants them to be seeded over Webster? Strength of schedule? Clearly not. Playi...

Re: South Webster at Portsmouth East 1/05

Very sad to hear that. So there's been similar incidents at the school, and yet, the only schools takings more precautionary measures are the schools COMING to play there? Not surprising. I'm going to keep bringing up this thread everyday until the individual is caught and behind bars. For the kids ...

Re: South Webster at Portsmouth East 1/05

last i heard was the cameras seen the person try to go through a locked door to get inside the locker room, then they moved on to an other door and it is being handled, also heard this sint the first time the person has been in trouble for similar incidents. he graduated from east 5 years ago..just...

Re: South Webster at Portsmouth East 1/05

Just heard from one of the parents that the locker room was broken into during the game and several players/coaches had money stolen. Wow, what a shame. I couldn't help but notice during the game there were no deputies/officers present. Why is that? I thought all schools were supposed to have a depu...

South Webster @ Wheelersburg 12-06

Thoughts on this game?

I know South Webster is 3-1, and I believe Wheelersburg is undefeated (correct me if I'm wrong)

Should be a competitive game in a very, very tough SOC.

Northwest should be improved from last year, anxious to see how Scarberry looks this season.

Re: Oak Hill vs South Webster

It will be closer than many Oak Hill fans think. Oak Hill is clearly the favorite, and will be at the top of the SOC until someone knocks them off. The only thing that could hold the Jeeps back is their youth and inexperience, which is my fear here. @ Oak Hill early on is a very tough challenge for ...

Re: SW 68 NW 35

Hall is #11, the freshman.

The girl who hit the 3's was Messer I believe.

And there's no way Webster Pride's stats on Hall are accurate. I was at the game, and Kacie played a solid game. But she wasn't that close to a quadruple double. Nice napkin stats, though.

Very good, yes. However, Hall from South Webster is the best freshman I've seen.

We will hold you to your word Crabs. You do that doughnut man. I have been on this site for a long time, and I have never been one to make big predictions and whatnot. But when someone makes a statement about Valley like that, I feel confident in what I wrote. The Indians return 2 of the top 5-7 pl...

Re: Top 5 Teams of the Past Decade

In the past decade, I reiterate my earlier question........has any team (other than Portsmouth) previously mentioned beaten 3 conference champions consecutively in the tournament? I know the 2012 Trojans did it, but I know of no one else who pulled off that difficult task. Impressive, yes, but if a...

Re: Top 5 Teams of the Past Decade

Swanker is correct. An unfortunate back injury may have ended Aldridge's career after an impressive first year in Australia. I also agree with Juan. Hard to argue the Portsmouth 2012 team over Wheelersburg (2 Division 1 players) and South Webster (2 Division 1 players). Talent speaks for itself. Did...

Sure are a lot of people picking Waverly.

I'm going with South Webster. A great group of kids, who seem determined to get their piece of the SOC.

Good Luck Lady Jeeps!

Re: Top 5 Teams of the Past Decade

A few of them went to play small school ball, but I'm not sure if any of them stuck with it. Interesting tidbit about Webster's State Championship team, is how several of them are now coaching Basketball. Bowman - Graduate Assistant at Eastern Kentucky University Waginger - Assistant at Western Caro...

Re: Top 5 Teams of the Past Decade

Hard to argue against the 2006 South Webster team. 2 Division 1 players, and most importantly, the State Championship to back it up. The Wheelersburg team that year was insanely good as well, but came up just short at State. Chillicothe team that won it all in D2 is probably the overall best. Portsm...

Re: Manchester vs South Webster District Championship

I will honestly be ASHAMED if the South Webster crowd is anywhere near as quiet as they were vs. Symmes Valley. What a joke! I don't mean they should be yelling at refs, being negative, etc. But there were a few occasions on a steal, or a big bucket, where I felt like I was the only one even applaud...

Re: District Tournament - A star studded event!

Even little old South Webster had two dunks off the glass last night. Even though the most impressive one didn't count (a foul on the passer). Rumor has it they have 5-6 that can dunk relatively easy. Not bad for a D4 team!

Re: WHITEOAK vs. SOUTH WEBSTER

Swanker Pine, You're still a fool for posting any type of information like that. Quit trying to justify that idiotic decision just because South Webster won by a large margin. While the games will be played regardless, and yes, all teams will be scouted at this point, there's no reason to ever make ...
