Re: Another Massive Earthquake
Mstgmom has been busy! Thanks for backing up what I have been trying to say to KII. The problem is, if you look at these events with a religious agenda, facts and figures don't mean anything. He is trying to make fact fit fiction, by trying to prove that the greatest quakes have come in the past dec...

Re: The CENSUS is coming. All for you? NOPE!
If you really believe that the census is for the reallocation of monies, why wouldn't you want to be counted. Count me twice if they want. From what I heard today only about 16% of people in inner cities return their census.

Re: Another Massive Earthquake
Here's a list of the biggest quakes since 1900, I only see 3 in the past 5 years of the 15, 4 if you take 1994, so that is not 50%. You will notice they are all in the ring of fire in the pacific where the earth crust in most active, or is god biased to the pacific rim countries? http://earthquake.u...

Re: Another Massive Earthquake
It's no great mystery why Earthquakes kill more people now, there are more people around to kill. Even KII should be able to do that math. For example there were about 1.5 million people in Istanbul in 1970, now there is almost 12 million. It is in an Earthquake zone and is overdue for a big one. Wh...

Smoking sections in bars and restaurants were like peeing sections in the pool. ![suprised1 :122246](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

Re: #2 Clay v. #3 Eastern Pike 1:45pm @ Jackson H.S. 2/27
Congrats Panthers. Heard Eastern Pike struggled all night and that is probably a credit to the Lady Panthers. I heard Eastern only has 1 senior, so next season should be outstanding! Clay had no seniors, so they will be a tough game next year. Should be an exciting season again. Good luck to the Pa...

Re: Another Massive Earthquake - Hawaii Shoreline Evacuating
No one ranted, no one raved? Rant: 1 : to talk in a noisy, excited, or declamatory manner 2 : to scold vehemently de·clam·a·to·ry (dÄ-klÄm'É™-tôr'Ä“, -tÅr'Ä“) adj. Having the quality of a declamation. Pretentiously rhetorical; bombastic. Best to be ready for 'the shout!' Oooooooo, is that a...

Re: Columbus judge throws out enforcement of smoking ban.......
The Pot Smokers tried to warn us all, but the conservative upstanding citizens said "I don't smoke pot, so it won't affect em" and stepped aside while a persons individual private rigths were taken away from them. I know it's illegal but the point was what they did in the privacy of their ...

Re: Columbus judge throws out enforcement of smoking ban.......
I would have voted for it no matter what it said. Smoking should have been banned in public places years ago. I go out a lot more than I did when smoking was allowed and from what I can see businesses are doing fine without the smokers. I am sure right after the ban was put in place some places took...

Re: Columbus judge throws out enforcement of smoking ban.......
OSCO is getting ready to hire 30 new workers in Portsmouth. All will be screened and have to be Tobacco free. This was pointed out to people when they first allowed drug testing in the workplace and let people go from jobs because of what they had smoked two weekends ago. It was predicted that tobac...

Re: Columbus judge throws out enforcement of smoking ban.......
From what I read in another paper the story was not that the ban has any chance of being repealed, but the fines being levied against the bars should be placed on the smoker. If the sign says "no smoking" and we all now know that this is the law in Ohio, then why should they fine the bars,...

Re: Manchester vs Clay in sectional tourney 02-23-10
This may be a big surprise to Clay fans, especially those who know my past post on this subject, but I suspect that Coach T will be back. Why?. I have talked to the team players and from what I have heard, they don't seem to be following what he is telling them. I watched the tape of the last game t...
