Re: D4 2/28 #1 Clay vs. #8 Western/#9 Manchester (Northwest)

I saw the Western/Manchester game and I was not at all impressed with Western. Manchester is not a very good team. Clay will toy with them. But, Western just looked really bad, no question about it. Break out the balls and bats!

Re: D4 2/28 #1 Waterford vs. #8 Eastern Meigs/#9 Green (Meigs)

Just curious, because I haven't kept up on many games this season, How did Waterford come out against Fort Frye?

Re: Waterford Wildcats Hoops

Fort Frye seems to lose to teams they should beat in the tournament. I drove nearly 100 miles to see them play a couple of years back and they lost to a very average team.

Doug Davis is a very professional official, and has been for many years. I am happy for him.

I've never been to Chesapeake (for a game). Do they have nice facilities?

Re: Rock Hill B-Ball Coach

Is anyone other than me old enough to remember the great Kitts Hill teams back in the late 40s and 50s? They brought some excellent teams to the Waverly tournament.

Re: Chesapeake Crowd (or lack of)

It's hard for me to believe that Chesapeake H. S. is that small. I've watched them play basketball over the years, and, they sure find some super basketball players somewhere. I would have thought they were a much bigger school than that. Oh, well, I learned something, today.

Some of the JG fans are so obnoxious you almost hope they lose, don't you?

Re: Chesapeake vs. Lynchburg Clay- Regional Semi

Lynchburg will NOT beat Chesapeake by 15, and Chesapeake will NOT win this one in a rout. It will be a hard fought game.

I'm not sure you can get to Athens from Lynchburg. In fact, you can hardly get ANYWHERE from Lynchburg.

Re: Chillicothe leaving scol after 2016-17 season

Waverly should join the NEW league with Chillicothe and Jackson. That would make a SUPER league. Wilmington thought they were too good for the SCOL, anyhow. Let them go to a league down around Cincinnati.
