Re: Hypothetical Match Up: Wheelersburg vs East
East speed is different from Burg speed. Like I said East has a good team but not on Burg's level and not sure if they ever will be.

Re: WK6 Green (3-2) @ Notre Dame (3-2)
IF Notre Dame takes care of the ball and swarms to the ball on defense they will win. Green has some confidence going into this game but I believe Notre Dame and their athletes will pull away from this game. Will the Titans bounce back from the devastating loss at Oak Hill or will Green's confidence...

Re: Hypothetical Match Up: Wheelersburg vs East
Not even close! Two different levels of football. How many kids from East are transfers? I am sure East is a good football team but I don't think they really have been tested this year and may not until they play Oak Hill.

Re: WK6 Waverly (5-0) @ Valley (0-5)
Has Valley really ever had to rebuild? I know they struggled after their 2005 playoff run but that struggle didn't last long (maybe 2 or 3 years). Valley has always been successful since Crabtree took over, this is just a down year and valley has been fortunate enough in years past to reload. This i...

Re: What happened to Valley?
Who should of got the basketball job? I think Coach Phillips will encourage the kids to play every sport. Sounds like you wanted the basketball job. Anyways, like Abe said talent runs in cycles in smaller schools. This is the first time Valley has been down in I don't know how many years. Valley has...

Re: What happened to Valley?
This group has had little to no varsity time because they aren't good enough. That's the bottom line. There are 2-3 of them that contributed in the past but there just isn't talent. The junior and senior groups have never won at anything. Doesn't make them bad kids. Just not good athletes. But, to ...

Re: East @ Valley
Before last year, the last time Valley & East played was the last year Valley was in the SOC I which was in 2005. I think Valley won 42-12 or something around that score.

Re: Piketon Basketball
I agree, they should of stuck with the older guidelines on transfer. Once you leave after your Freshman year than you must sit out that year. If your family moves, you have a physical street address, and you ACTUALLY live in that house than you should be able to play if you transfer after your fresh...

Re: Western vs East District Final
The difference between ND and Western is WESTERN wanted it more than ND. They played from start to finish. Yes it is hard to beat a team 3 times but when you come prepared and have a game plan than that shouldn't matter. Go Tartans!

Re: D-IV Northwest Sectional Finals
Miller did a great job on making adjustments. I think Western was well prepared and just wanted it a little bit more than ND. Its' hard to beat a team 3 times. I felt like ND was flat the whole game. I guess this is why you play the game. Western did a great job defensively on mixing up their defens...
