Have to give Piketon credit for keeping this one close for a half. Their offense can be dangerous, but not many local teams are built to handle Adena’s combination of speed and physicality.

Joe, what’s going on? I thought my Streaks would do well against the Bearcats.

Pv has ran the ball extremely well. Piketon’s passing game has just been a smidge off. Pv has gotten a ton of pressure on the QB too.

Lynchburg Clay pulled an about face and rehired Matt Carson

The AD was also non-renewed. Don’t know all of the details, but I tend to agree there is a board member with a family member with his eye on the job. We’ll see, I guess.

Paint Valley will be fine. Tradition doesn’t graduate. Coach Dye has put together a nice staff and there is plenty of talent returning.

If you are looking for a reason to get out of the house, might as well make the drive to Bainbridge for a fish dinner. They will be open from 11a-4p. They will be operating a drive thru fish fry. $5 for a sandwich or $8 for a dinner (sandwich, baked beans, potato salad and drink).

New Philly led 21-19 at half.

This is absolutely unbelievable. This had to be a fun, if not strange, game to watch.
