By bus, about four hours, which was about the same as their trip last week to Van. I think that the Blue Devils are going to have a long ride home from Portsmouth.

It was nice to see a very competitive game to close the season. After watching blowouts every week on Friday Night Rival games covered by WCHS out of Charleston, a rivalry game in the rain is a good watch. WTAP will be broadcasting this game live, I believe on their MeTV channel. They also show it again tape delay, at 11:30 PM, on WTAP, if I am not mistaken.

Beallsville had a 20-0 lead in the first half, and a 28-20 lead in the 4th quarter, and Paden City scored 22 unanswered to win 42-28. Not sure how the Blue Devils will fare in their looonnngggg trip to Van, probably close to four hours one way by bus. Good luck to Beallsville next week.

Hate to say it, but I see a running clock in the second half. The Cougars long journey of frustration within the Woodsfield corporation limit continues at Monroe Memorial Park on Friday night.

Woof! Hopefully, someone wins and this game does not end in a tie. I say the three year win streak ends Friday night.

I think the Blue Dons are going to give the Blue Devils all that they can handle, and I would not be surprised to see the home team take this one. Beallsville has been the benefactor of arguably the weakest schedule in R27, so their record is most likely deceiving.

Even though the game is in Sarahsville, I've got to go with the Pilots. Always enjoyed watching games at the Zep's home field.
