Re: Jr. High Softball report
Couldn't remember the names for them but, Oak Hill is loaded and I believe girls from other programs are even coming to Oak Hill now to be part of it. That's a very good sign. I know a angel loses it's wings any time you don't put a Burg team at the top of the list but unless Burg gets talent transf...

ND 34
Green 29
Based on what I saw and the scores I'm hearing from other games these are probably two of the top teams around.

Re: #3 MICHIGAN @ #2 OHIO STATE, IN THE SHOE !!!!!!!!!!!
I am a Buckeyes fan. I'm wearing the hoodie and rooted for them all game but I dont understand why people around here go "full retard" for them. In Columbus and even north of them I get it. But I've never seen Ohio State University do anything for a community south of Chillicothe. I dont e...

Re: Jr. High Girls basketball 2016/17
Watched most the teams play some at the previews yesterday. SOC1 Green(8th Grade) Very good, beat Webster 15-4 Notre Dame - Very Good, but it's a 1 player team. Clay - Ok East - Better than they were a year ago. STILL need a lot of work. New Boston - Not very good. The SOC 2 Teams didn't really impr...

Re: Jr. High Softball report
Perhaps you are not as familiar with other players in this area as you think. Given the nature of my job I'm pretty involved with most of them and see a lot of them in the travel season. I trust my credentials more than your dad goggles. I guess we should call Clay "young" more than "...

East will probably win it this year but it will be their last really good year for the foreseeable future.
Clay, western will be good. Green will be much improved at their freshmen stars are now sophomores but still a year away from making any noise.

Re: Jr. High Softball report
Oak Hill will be the team to beat hands down. Burg will be far from the top. Will have decent hitting but inconsistent and inexperienced pitching. Ironton is down. Webster lost some hitting. New Boston lost a lot. East, West and Clay are weak. Valley Lost hitting but still some solid pitching and th...

Re: Oak Hill 60 Green 6
East can't help it kids want to go there?? They are keeping their doors open by taking in problem children. They are lucky that translates into good tough football players and basketball players. But are jokes at every other sport outside this class. I respect ND. They play tough with very few playe...

Re: THE WAY TO EARLY HIGH SCHOOL REPORT
They will always have good pitching. Just not the dominate they see accustomed to I think. You know as well as I do pitching takes years in softball to develop. The freshman better buckle down and get with a good pitching coach if she's going to be an impact player as a pitcher before she graduates....

Re: THE WAY TO EARLY HIGH SCHOOL REPORT
Burgs Freshmen crew has enough bats to keep them in most games but pitching takes a hit for at least three classes after that. But it's Burg so I'm sure someone will transfer in. Oak Hill Jr High was great last year. Battled with Ironton as the top team all season. My views are based on what I've se...

Re: Oak Hill 60 Green 6
North West just tries to justify why they are in the wrong spot. Instead of saying "yah, we got a bunch of kids that dont want to play football anymore" they want to just make excuses as to why they need to play down a level. Give a small school like Green props. They dont get "discar...

Re: THE WAY TO EARLY HIGH SCHOOL REPORT
Burg will be the team to beat for about 2 more seasons. Then there is a gap in talent till the younger group is ready. Minford, West and Webster are about to drop off the map soon unless they get help. Other than the usual Oak Hill is about to come on strong in the next couple years, Great group com...
