Beating a team by 20+ is not considered "barely beating" a team. Not sure if it's that way up north, but here that's a substantial victory. Maybe not a blowout, per se, but a lopsided victory nonetheless.

Weeks 7 and 8 will tell a lot of how good Coal Grove truly is. Gallia beat Meigs by a lot, Coal Grove struggled defensively. Ironton is self-explanatory.

Every team in the OVC has a winning record with the exception of Portsmouth (who has lost to two good teams). What’s everyone’s thoughts on the OVC this year as a whole?

Going with Coal Grove by 21. Looks like they have an explosive offense this year.

When was the last time South Point started 2-1? I can see them doing that this week.

I say Ironton by 14. Fairland hangs around for three quarters and Ironton pulls away at the end.

Hypothetically, I think the Division 1 would’ve been interesting last year. Ironton, Waverly, Fairland and Wheelersburg all could’ve had a shot to win it. Shoot, Portsmouth and Portsmouth West would’ve competed as well.

I can see anywhere from a 3-7 season to a 7-3 season, and anywhere in between a possibility.
