Re: Warren (3-0) @ Portsmouth (1-2) (SEOAL)
Isn't high school football season awesome!!! Here we have two teams going in what seems like different directions yet we can rag each other ( hopefully in fun ). Trojans must get ready and play some "D", something the last two games they have not,(opponents had something to do with this) a...

Re: Week 3 Portsmouth @ Wheelersburg
VERY PROUD OF THE TROJANS FOR SHOWING A LOT OF HEART LAST NIGHT!!.......Even though we lost, this game was a lot easier to swallow than the game vs. West.......our Trojans battled back from a 2 TD deficit to even the score.......we did hurt ourselves with penalties in the red zone on a couple of po...

Congrats to the Pirates on the win......SOC II goes 5-1 on the night!! Great job SOC!! My questionis why in the world are you afraid to let PHS into your little yard...West, Burg step up and get after the other Indians and let them into the league....It is very clear the day of PHS running over peo...

Re: Week 3 Portsmouth @ Wheelersburg
Congrats to the Burg on the win. The team need to thank their lucky stars they had Brandon Schankweiler on their side tonight since he scored all 5 of the Pirate TD's. Lots of work still be done on the defensive side of the ball. not to mention he was also a big part of their defense... ===========...

Re: Week 2 Portsmouth (1-0) at West (1-0)
I agree about Roger Gray. Thank god he had some help in the booth tonight. I don't know who the guy was helping him, but without him I would have had no idea what was going on. As for the Trojans, I think it all went downhill after stopping West on the first drive and making a nice return on the pu...

Re: Best all time team in southern Ohio
I do not know how far back an all time team is to be but,,the 1953 Trojans would have to be right up there with any team mentioned...I know, it was a long time ago but for some of us we remember these teams of the past...the 53 PHS team would give any team all they could handle.... wipalawalt,,,an o...

Re: What determines if a high school coach is a great coach?
IMO, even more important than league or tournament titles when discussing greatness is CONSISTENCY over time. Anyone can run into a great class and stay out of their way as they achieve. Some coaches (I wont name names) have made a career out of going where the talent is and when the talent pool dr...
