Re: Who is it from your team?

Grayson Diener from Waverly. Not many strong legged kickers coming out of Southeastern Ohio. this kid is legit, looking for him to get some looks after he attends Kohl’s scholarship camp and when the season rolls around He is playing WR this season too. He has size and speed and if he can learn his...

Re: How Could The Playoffs Be Improved?

Go back to the top 4 teams in each region. But because region A is so much tougher than region B a team in region A finished 5th in that region and is left out but had more computer points than say the 2nd or 3rd ranked team in region B. I understand the concept of the top 32 teams in each division...

Re: 25-40 seconds

Holy Crap... teams will be able to waste away whole quarters of games, Army/Navy Style!! How long do you think it currently takes from the end of a play to when the official begins the .25 play clock? I’d say many times way more than .15 seconds. With the new rule the .40 seconds begins at the end ...

Re: 25-40 seconds

So if I have this right during the bulk of a drive/series there is 40 second to work after ball is set. So a grinding drive gets 60% more time to grind. Someone explain to me how this isn’t the biggest change since helmets. They don’t wait for ball to be set. 40 starts at the end of the play. So wh...

Re: 25-40 seconds

Haven’t seen the rule but I would say like college: 40 seconds begins from the end of the play on officials signal. 25 seconds would be after a penalty, possibly kickoff, exchange of possession, timeout, etc.

Who's the top players coming into the season? Waverly has lots of talent in this class. Phoenix Wolf (when healthy) is one of the best receivers in the SOC along with his quarterback Shanks who is in my opinion the best QB in the class of 2021 he excelled his sophomore season and I expect him to ev...

Re: The future of grass fields

I heard that Piketon's field has some issues and parts of it are like walking on a sponge. Don't know who did it or anything about them, or anything about the issues they are having, but you couldn't get a better top notch crew than the Company Waverly got to do theirs 4 years ago. 95% of the work ...

Futhey’s have been camping, at UK today.
Looking for Will to be a beast, Barnett to step up and possibly Wade and Markham to fill some roles.
How big is Will now? I heard he’s 6’5, but don’t know how much he weighs?

Re: 2019-2020 Enrollment snd Division Assignment

Hopefully waverly gets moved from region 16 with all of the Dayton and Cincinnati schools, absolutely no reason for them to be in that region If you look at the map, it does make sense for them to be in that region https://www.ohsaa.org/Portals/0/Sports/Football/2018/D4-RegionsMap.pdf .
