It was great to see almost 30 people at open gym last night. That is the attitude I love to see....even a few came over after football workouts.

We were a little sluggish last night in the Portsmouth Summer League, however we went 2-0 vs Lewis & Boyd County, Kentucky. We are at the Shawnee State Shootout on Friday.

Still putting together the schedule......shaping up to be a good one!

Redstreaks go 0-4 at Miami....two tough early morning losses to Middletown and Kings High School. I thought we bounced back and played well and hard in the afternoon vs Corydon, Indiana losing at the buzzer and Cincinnati Oak Hills. Although we were missing some key players, I thought our young kids...

We have a lot of work to put in between now and November. We must be stronger, tougher, and a lot more mature than we were last year; The key will be our leadership from this senior class and the maturity of the underclassmen....we have a nice mix, however the kids will have to buy into their roles ...

Jimmy, Yes Piketon will have two teams....high school and Alumni.....should be fun!!!!!

Men's tournament....however we try to break the brackets down so one high school, one college, and two adult teams make it to the final four. It depends on the Entry's, historically high school teams has played well.

Dates for The Bannon Park Classic is July 2-4, 2010....High School teams will kick-off the Classic on Friday Night...(under the lights).....this is 5 on 5 fullcourt outdoors double-elimination basketball tournament, limited to 12 teams on a first come, first serve basis, local teams will play on Fri...

I'm sorry to hear the news about Joe getting out of coaching, he's a great friend and mentor. I will never forget our great run at Portsmouth....man we would turn up the heat!
