1978 Craig Tubbs 19 foot shot from the corner in the District Final to beat Washington Court House and send the Trojans in to the Regionals and eventually winning the 1978 Class AA State Championship. Coach Dick Hopkins called the play "Jacobs Ladder" :) ....what a fitting name for a game...

Piketon' sophmore post player, Blake Reader, has shattered the Redstreaks season record. He personally has taken 24 charges on the season. He took 5 in one game earlier this year! Congrats to Coach Matt Combs for another outstanding season. Matt has a knack for getting 110% from his kids. During our games when I coached at Piketon and even our scrimmages now at Northridge, I can always count on VC to bring it. Coaches the game the way he played it...with passion!
