Re: 2019 SOC 1
I think they are looking at one class only from Burg and concluding that everyone on the team is a transfer. Burgs Jr Class has a few transfers from Portsmouth, Notre Dame then the girl from Oak Hill. But on a team of 25+ thats just a direct few. I guess the question is at what age is a kid consider...

Re: Top 10 players in SE Ohio...
How bout we get back on topic, supposed to be talking about the top players in the south east district. Stay off Preps buddy not so sure what I said that offended you, buddy? We got a couple trolls on the boards right now who think this is their personal sounding board to cry and attack coaches. Do...

1. Waverly 2. Burg 3. Oaks 4. Minford 5. Northwest 6. Valley 7. West 8. South Webster Tigers should roll in league play this season returning every pitcher from last season, and lots of talent. Tigers only lost 3 seniors from last years district championship team. 1. Burg - Burg is Burg 2. Waverly ...

Re: SOC 1
Both ND and Clay are in great shape this season. Both teams have their reasons why they believe they should be favored. I give ND the edge on pitching and Clay the edge hitting and experience. If either of these two aren't 1 or 2 id be shocked. SOC 1 for the last two years has been fun to watch beca...

Don't be surprised if ND leaps Clay this season.
ND
Clay
Green
Symmes Vally
Eastern
Western
New Boston
St Joe
East
That's my quick guess.

Re: Green (5-0) @ Notre Dame (0-5)
 My prediction is 8-2 Likewise! Where is the Pike Eastern game played this year? Could even be mayby 9-1? Most important thing though is one game at a time, win this week and be 6-0 At eastern who just beat Summer 38-12 at SV which is pretty impressive. Yeah he's a known drug user and idiot....

Re: Green (5-0) @ Notre Dame (0-5)
The fan is 100% idiot. But, He represents a lot of frustration with the community and Ted. This group of kids won at the peewee and Jr High levels, usually by a large margin. If you watch them now you feel they have underperformed through the years under Newsome. People who seriously don't know crap...

Re: Southern Ohio Storm 16u Tryouts
This dude has it all figured out. Good luck to whatever coach takes this guy's kid on. I've never seen his kid play but I'm positive he's got those Dad goggles just because he already knows it all and chooses to get on here and start drama in EVERY post. So if any other kid beats his out for whateve...

Re: What’s the holdup on releasing the SOC all conference teams ?
So the real comments are coming out. Wheelersburg should have all 9 players on first or second teams and rest of SOC gets what’s left over that’s my belief in reading these comments. Wow I think it’s called the SOC awards maybe not the Wheelersburg awards. Anyone else agree but anyways that’s how i...

Re: What’s the holdup on releasing the SOC all conference teams ?
To me unless the voting is super close , like a tie , the grade of the player is irrelevant- it isn’t the Jr Sr of the year award. . If the freshman is the most outstanding player and earned the award , then that’s who gets the award .. penalizing a kid for their grade is not fair imo . And the awa...

Re: What’s the holdup on releasing the SOC all conference teams ?
I say that’s a pretty impressive list and Coach Spriggs did a fantastic job by reading the above post. When people read the whole body of work of a league, you get all these great story’s of the Coach’s and players n each conference. I see this as a balanced conference with great players and Coach’...

Re: Early next season SOC predictions
Probably unless Symmes Valley snuck one in there. I've never once said Clay or Notre Dame aren't the teams to beat. I just also acknowledge that programs like Eastern, New Boston and Green aren't really pushovers anymore. People get stuck on one or two schools and guess what.. kids read these forums...
