Directions to Jackson Invit 9/18

Post by sprinter14 »

Wanted to go to the Jackson Invite, anyone got directions for me on how to get there?? Back when I was in school it was always out at the golf course. Is it still there? I can't remember how to get to it. Thanks for any help!

Course has a very steep hill that is about 400M long and you have to run it twice. Also has some rolling hills. My dtr has ran one of her best times on this course.

I googled it and found it. Looks pretty easy to get to. Last time I was there we ran Jackson my Junior year so that would have been the fall of 1990. Wow, that makes me feel old. Anyway, I remember that I had one of my slower times there and there was one BIG hill that separated the men from the boys!

Can anyone tell me how many races there are and what time the first one is scheduled to start?? Thanks again for the help guys.

I do not agree that this is a slow course. And it is not true that the course is full of hills. 2 hills is all there are. And as soon as you get up the hill, there is a good downhill. When I ran in HS, I pr'd on this course.

I always loved running at jackson in the evenings, it was a nice course, other than the two hills. Like said before though, once your over them, you can fly the rest.

I have also ran personal best on this course every year. Though that hill is very intimidating. Especially running it twice!
