Congrats to Alexis Gray of Washington CH for qualifying by finishing 15th overall and becoming the 1st ever female CC runner to qualify for the school.

Can Athens girls win it all?

Look to be a top 3 team.

Elyse Black could go top 5 with a tough and gritty race.

Athens looked pretty tough at the regional, I am sure they will be in the mix. Elyse Black will have a chance. Good luck to all SE athletes competing at state.

It will be tough for Athens against Granville, but I hope they achieve it!

Congrats also to Malone!

Anyone know how that girl from unioto is doing? It's the first time I've witnessed someone hit the wall that hard. I wish the best to her.

In Div. 2 there are about 4 teams with better team times.

Granville
Lexington
SVSM.
Morgan

Yeah but Pickerington typically runs as one of the tougher courses of the 4...Tiffin a decent bit quicker.

Morgan is not close to a better time.

I think Granville wins it and SVSM, Lexington, Athens and Woodridge battle it out for 2nd-5th

Lexington will have the top 2 1-2 runners, SVSM and Woodridge have some depth that could displace Lexington's 4-5 runners a few spots. Athens has no room for anyone to be a little off.

Should be an outstanding race to watch unfold and finish.

Athens top 5 beat all of the team from Morgan. So I wouldn't say they are faster, but until the race is over I wouldn't say they aren't a factor.

Morgan has four runners going under 20:00.00 with the best time around 19:14.00. Athens has three runners under 20:00 but two of them go under 19:00. What is important here his where they finish.

Can only truly compare them on the same courses. How have they stacked up in meets this season.

Right off the top of my head I think the only time they were in the same meet was the Athens invite...where Morgan didn't run their top 5 runners. In that meet Athens might have had 10 runners finish ahead of any Morgan runner.

Just found out they ran against each other in the McGowan Invite where Athens finished 1st and Morgan was a distant 2nd.....43/160
Morgan must have ran on some fast or short courses.

Granville was in this meet too and finish with a score of 161..but they didn't have 3 of their top runners in this meet...DeGenero,Long and McFarland

Morgan's #1 finished behind Athens #5....in the same race at Pickerington, unless Morgan held out their top 5 or they held back greatly...

This shouldn't even be discussed.

Granville......1:38:22.86.....x
Lexington.....1:39:05.80.....43
Athens.........1:39:08.12.....46
SVSM...........1:39:46.37.....1.24

Different courses but looks like anyone of the four could take it.
Anyone have an idea which one of the four courses is the hardest?

anyone of them compare to where the state meet is held?

Does Granville run on this course during the regular season?
