Paul Wood Memorial - Point Pleasant - Openings

Point Pleasant is looking for 3 more teams for our feature high school meet, the Paul Wood Memorial Invitational on Saturday, April 14. Right now we have 9 teams committed, I would like to have 12. We feel like we have a lot to offer at Point Pleasant:

-- We have automatic timing.
-- We have a repuation for running smooth meets.
-- This is a 2 session meet. A chance to see how your athletes handle running with prelims and finals.
-- Performance lists and team entries emailed to coaches the night before the meet, so coaches can confirm line-ups prior to arriving.
-- Spaghetti dinner for all coaches, provided by the Wood family.
-- Medals for 1st-3rd in every event - PLUS ribbons for 4th-6th.
-- In addition to high point awards we also off Most Outstanding Performance awards for field events and track events.
-- This meet is on the ACT date, but it doesn't begin until 3:00, which allows your athletes time to take their ACT and still get to the meet.
-- Accomodating staff and officials. We don't search out for reasons to DQ your athletes, we practice preventive officiating in order to give every athlete a chance to compete.
-- We can offer special rates per athlete for smaller teams.

We always run this meet on the April ACT test date. So if this looks like a meet you might be interested in for next year, our meet date and time for 2013 will be Saturday, April 13 with a start time of 3:00.
