Also Warren track is probably going to take a nose dive after the 08 class moves on. Many of them were apart of the 2004 undefeated Jr. High team. That was a pure talent team it was only the 2nd year of Jr. High track. Warren will be losing major scorers Cantley, Wilson, Call, Majoy, Wolfer and many others. In addition there are next to zero underclassmen to fill there spots.

Seems like over the last 3 to 4 years Marietta has had the best boys track program in Jr. High. (SEOAL)

I have been to several Jr. High SEOAL meets and there has always been a large following.

I'm getting worried that a couple of key guys at Warren may be changing their mind.

I heard a rumor about Cantley not doing track, had something to do with him doing some type of homeschooling program that doesn't allow you to compete in sports for a school.

Jared Cantley is not going to be able to compete this year.

Tyler is doing pseo and will be running.

Jared looked like he was going to be a good pole vaulter

Jared also ran a 54ish 400 at the district meet last year - the 1st and only time he ran it last year. No question he would be able to help somewhere this year.

On a positive note - this track season is the only one he will miss - he will be back and able to run XC this fall.

Thanks for clearing that up. Sorry if I have caused rumors to spread even more.
