Re: Best at Individual Events
Galen Dills won state indoor DII/III in the 3200. His time was 9:37.96.
Unioto also won the 4x8 with 8:13.56

Looks like warren's 4x8 might have sombody to run with this year.

Chillicothe and Logan should fight it out for the top spot in the shot and discus.

Call did not throw his best at league, but got into the low 50's. He and Wolfer should be right there with Chilly and Logan’s guys this year.
Re: Best at Individual Events
Last season for the first time in years I missed the Region 7 finals and did not see Dills until the State Meet. I was impressed with him in those finals and I believe he should clearly be one of the better D2 distance runners this season in Ohio.

Isn't there a new guy at chilly that threw 170 in the disc. 170 should win at seoal.

River junior D.J. Duke threw the shot 62' the other night in a tune-up meet. He needs only consistency to be among the state's best. I'll keep ya posted.
Re: Best at Individual Events
The person to whom you are referring at Chillicothe has the last name of Smith. His first name is Curtis, I think. He was at Paint Valley last year. As for winning the SEOAL, I don't know because last year's returning winner (Nathan Hoch) threw 168+ at the league, regional, and state meets. There is nothing like competition to bring out the best in people.

Any idea what he throws in shot?
Re: Best at Individual Events
Just looking at the results from the district, regional, and state level...Hoch was over 53 at the regional meet, but apparently Smith did not throw the shot at the district level. I don't know what he threw during the season.
