I don't know about this year, but in the past I know Morgan, Miller, and Federal Hocking came to this meet. With Warren Boys being there I see them winning this meet, they are just something to watch

Belpre Shrine Meet 4/12

Post by 4sporterEHS »

This has been a great meet in the years past. Always having a lot of teams show up and particularly good in the distance events. Last year the meet was cancelled due to snow! Yes, snow in April. This year though, looks like there will be no snow for Saturday.

Who's all going this year? What is going to be some of the good events?

I know these teams will be there:
Belpre
Eastern
Warren

I don't remember Miller or Federal ever being there in my days, but Morgan usually makes the trip down.

I'd say the 3200 meet record could be broke this year.

noreply66, I saw your topic on track on a different sports site and believe you to be a distance fan. FYI if you have not seen the result, Ryan Beabout from Wheeling Park ran a 9:18.33 yesterday.

I believe that Beabout and the Wheeling Park Cross Country team did run in a meet in southern Ohio last fall. I can't remember what meet it was or the results of Park. I do remember that Park did rather well in this meet. I will search for results.

It was the Galion Meet, Beabout was 4th in 15:28.

Really don't have a favorite.

I just like the whole track thing.

Sweet meet. Little windy, so no fast times.
