Wow. What a day. The TVC never siezes to amaze me.
It was so exciting going back and watching this tonight.

First off, the 1600.
Emily Skidmore set a new TVC record, which she held, at 5:15. She beat Tornes by 10 seconds.
The boys side ws even better. Crislip took the early lead and Aaron Martindale stayed in the middle of the pack the entire race. Aaron took the lead on the last lap and looked to have the lead until Crislip got enought at the end to win. He ran 4:39 and Martindale slipped to 3rd with a 4:44. A 14 second PR.

Then the 800.
Emily Skidmore again set the 800 record at 2:23, which she as well held. She won by 2 seconds over Soulsby of Meigs.
Josh Collins took thee early lead in the 800 only to have Cody Strahler of Waterford to beat him on the second lap with a 2:04. Aaron Martindale placed 5th.

The fresh Tornes won this time. Setting a new TVC record at 11:38. Emily Skidmore got 2nd with 11:46. This was her 3rd event of the day though. Emily Dunfee ran a tough race coming in 3rd with a 11:46 as well.
Aaron Martindale got his 1st TVC victory with a 10:33. That was 5 seconds faster than Crislip.

Eastern Boys won their first TVC title ever, in school history. The crazy thing is, they only had 10 guys running in the meet. Belpre won on the OHIO side in both boys and girls and Waterford won girls HOCKING.
