Post by noreply66 »

Girls

Eastern

Looks like they lost only one to graduation-Will be strong in almost all events.
Do see where they could use some help in the 1600 nd 3200
Will finish in the top of the conference

Fairfield

Didn't graduate but maybe one.
Will do well in about everything
200 and Pole vault look to be their weakest events.
Should finish in the top of the conference

Fayetteville

Looks like everyone will return-800, 1600 and Shot Put will be this teams best events.
Discus and High Jump should bring solid point in most meets
100, 100h, 200, 300h, 400,3200 and Long Jump will need the help of freshmen.
Could finish in the lower part of the middle of the pack

Lynchburg

This team didn't graduate too many either.
Will do well in the 100h, 200 and 300h
100, Discus and Long jump should bring solid points
Should finish in the middle of the pack

Manchester

Didn't graduate too many but those that did were very good
Will need a lot of people to step up.
Finish will be towards the bottom

North Adams

Lost a couple to graduation-3200 and the long jump will be their best events.
Will need lots of help.
Finish looks to be near the bottom

Peebles

Lost only one from last years team. Looking for this team to have a nice season
Will score a lot of points in half the events.
The 100, 100h, 800 and Discus will need some youth to step up.
Should finish very high in the middle of the pack

Ripley

This team didn't graduate too many and their youth must show they can compete this season
Will finish near the bottom

West Union

Graduated four-Look for good results in the 100,400 and 800
Will need help in over half the events
Another middle of the pack team

Whiteoak

Lost two from 2017-100, 200 and the Long Jump look to be strong
The rest of the events be did everyone to step up
Should keep from being at the bottom.

Boys

Eastern

Lost two to graduation-Should be near the top of the conference.
To get to #1 they will need to find some help in the 100, 110, 200, 300 and the 400
Should be strong in the 800,3200, Discus, Shot Put and High Jump
In most meets they should pull in points from the 1600 and Long Jump

Fairland

Graduation took around a half dozen boys-Will finish in the top few
Look strong in all events- Biggest weak spot might be the High jump

Fayetteville

Lost a couple-Only see a couple events where they will be good and that might be the 300h and 400.
Will be near the bottom of the conference meet.

Lynchburg

This team lost a lot from 2017. Looks like about 10 boys.
The field events will be where this team picks up most of it's points
Will finish in the middle of the pack

Manchester

What this team lost will really be missed
800, 1600 and 3200 will be their best events
Finish will be near the bottom

North Adams

Didn't graduate too much- Could be good enough to finish third in the conference
100, 200, High jump and Long jump will be their best events.
The 110 will pick up points in most meets.

Peebles

Team lost three from last season- This team will be a lot like North Adams when coming to where they will finish.
Will be their strongest in the 200, 300, 1600,3200 and Shot put

Ripley

Didn't graduate much- This year their youth from last year will need to step up.
Will be at the bottom in the conference meet

West Union

Lost three boys- another team that will have a good chance for third come conference time.
100,110, 300, 400, shot put and Long jump look good
1600 and 3200 will get them points in some meets

Whiteoak

About the same team as last year. A lot of boys need to step up
Look for points come from 110, 800, HJ, 3200, 1600, Discus and SP
Will be a solid middle of the pack team

No relays are counted

Boys

Fairfield.....As far as going up against the SHAC this team is solid
Eastern.....Average team for the SHAC..could have trouble in meets outside the SHAC
North Adams.....They have a few good runners and HJ/LJ
Whiteoak.....will put points in the book but depth will hurt
Peebles.....see 5 to 6 events that will bring top points
West Union.....outside a few good events they will struggle
Lynchburg.....field events will be their best
Fayetteville.....don't see more than 4 or 5 events where they could score
Manchester.....other than the 800,1600,3200 it will be hard to get points
Ripley.....Long spring here

Girls

Eastern.....Relays should get them 1st place
Fairfield.....100/200 might be their down fall
Peebles.....Look good in the 1600,3200 field events but will not get them up with Eastern/Fairland
Lynchburg.....this team can score in most events but depth will hurt
West Union.....not much depth
Fayetteville.....field event will be were they get their biggest points
Whiteoak.....only see three or four events where they could get points
North Adams.....3200 and the long jump will get them in the score book
Ripley.....Will be hurting
Manchester.....Same as above
