FAC

Girls

When it comes to the sprints, Hurdles and Distance I will go with Chillicothe, Washington, Hillsboro, Miami Trace. Wouldn't shock me if these four teams would be within 12 points of each other in those three.

The field events should go to Hillsboro, Washington, McClain, Chillicothe. Hillsboro should be in the area of 10 to 20 points better than the other three teams.

Relays should over all favor Miami Trace, Washington, Hillsboro and Chillicothe

Top four teams will be within 20 points of each other. I will go with Hillsboro, Washington, Chillicothe, Miami Trace, McClain and Jackson.

Boys

Sprints, Hurdles and Distance should go to Miami Trace, Hillsboro, Chillicothe and McClain. About 15 points will separate these four.

Field events looks like Hillsboro, Chillicothe, Miami Trace. Hillsboro could be 15 to 25 points better than the other two.

Relays look real close between four teams with Miami Trace being the better followed by Washington, Hillsboro and Chillicothe. Might be able to count the difference on one hand.

Top three teams should be within 25 points of each other. Here I will go with Hillsboro, Miami Trace and Chillicothe, McClain, Washington and Jackson.

OVC

Girls

Looks like Fairland will rule the sprints, Hurdles and Distance followed by Ironton, Gallia, Rock Hill, Chesapeake, Dawson-Bryant, South Point and Portsmouth.

Field Events will also go to Fairland followed by Gallia, Dawson-Bryant, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Rock Hill, Ironton and South Point.

Relays.....Right now I give the advantage to Gallia followed by Fairland, Dawson-Bryant, Rock Hill, Ironton, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and South Point.

I give the girls OVC championship to Fairland followed by Gallia, Dawson-Bryant, Ironton, Rock Hill, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and South Point. Rock Hill and Chesapeake could go either way but shouldn't push Ironton for 4th place.

Boys

The sprints, Hurdles and Distance should go to Rock Hill followed by Portsmouth, Fairland, Chesapeake, Gallia, Dawson-Bryant and South Point. Portsmouth could push Rock Hill with a break or two.

Field events will be much closer than the running events. Look for Rock Hill and Dawson-Bryant to be in a real battle. If either one chokes Fairland has a good chance for number 2 in the field events. From 4th to do bottom it could go as this. Chesapeake, Gallia, Ironton, Portsmouth and South Point.

Relays.....Another fight to be the top in the relays. Rock Hill once again along with Chesapeake. Fairland could do the same here as they could in the field events. Then comes Portsmouth, Ironton and Gallia could take the 4th spot in the relays followed by Dawson-Bryant and South Point.

I will Give the Boys OVC to Rock Hill followed by either Portsmouth, Fairland, Chesapeake. The rest will go as Dawson-Bryant, Gallia, Ironton and South Point.

SHAC

Looking at the Sprints, Hurdles and the Distance it is Peebles in a run away followed by Fairfield, West Union, Eastern, Lynchburg, Whiteoak and Fayetteville. The last three are almost the same.

Field Events is where Fairfield starts a come back followed by Eastern, Fayetteville, Lynchburg, West Union, Peebles and Whiteoak.

Relays will be real close but I will say Fairfield has the better over all relays followed by Lynchburg , West Union, Peebles, Whiteoak, Eastern, Manchester and Fayetteville.

I will go with Peebles as the Girls SHAC champion. Don't think Fairfield will be able to make up the big points Peebles will pull in the Sprints, Hurdles and Distance events. 2nd place to Fairfield followed by West Union, Eastern, Lynchburg, Fayetteville, Whiteoak, Manchester, Ripey and North Adams

Boys

I see Fairfield taking the Sprints, Hurdles and the Distance events Followed by Whiteoak, West Union, Eastern,
Lynchburg, Fayetteville, North Adams, Manchester and Peebles.

Eastern should be real strong in the field events probably doubling any other team. Fairfield for 2nd followed by Lynchburg, West Union, Peebles, Whiteoak, Fayetteville,

Relays will come down to Fairfield followed by Peebles, Whiteoak, Lynchburg, Eastern, West Union, Fayetteville, Manchester and North Adams

The 2019 SHAC championship should go to Fairfield. No other team will be able to stay with them winning big in the Relays and the sprints, Hurdles and Distance events. Whiteoak looks like the 2nd place team fallowed by
Eastern, West Union, Lynchburg, Peebles, Fayetteville, North Adams and Manchester

SOC

Girls

The sprints, hurdles and distance will have two teams running away with big numbers. I see Wheelersburg pulling the most points followed by Waverly, Northwest, Green, Oak Hill (the last three teams could go either way) Valley, West and Minford.

The field events will go to The Burg too followed by Northwest, Waverly, Valley, Minford, Green and West.

Wheelersburg should finish a head of Waverly in the relays followed by Minford, Northwest, Valley, West, Oak hill and Green.

The girls SOC championship goes to Wheelersburg in a run away followed by Waverly which should go over a hundred points but still will not be close to Burg. 3rd will go to Northwest followed by Valley, Minford, Green, Oak Hill and West

Boys

Northwest should come out on top in the sprints, hurdles and distance. The next three team could just about finish in any order Waverly, Minford and Wheelersburg followed by Green, Valley, Notre Dame and West.

Look for Waverly to do well in the field events followed by Northwest and Valley. The next three teams could be in any order Minford, Wheelersburg and Green.

Minford looks to be the top relay team where they could take three out of four. Wheelersburg and Waverly will have a chance to take a couple if Minford slips up. Northwest and West should be the next in line followed by Valley, Green and Notre Dame.

The Boys SOC champs will come down to the 4x400 between Waverly and Northwest. Minford will hang in there but will probably come up 10 to 15 points short. Wheelersburg will look strong but with the field events being away from the action you won't beable to see them struggling.

SVC

Girls

Zane Trace looks like the team to score the most in the Sprints, Hurdles and the Distance events Followed strongly by Unioto after that it should run this way.....Westfall, Adana, Paint Valley, Huntington, Southeastern and Piketon.

Field events should go to Unioto but not by much over Zane Trace. Even Piketon and Westfall will do well in the field events. Then comes Southeastern, Paint Valley, Adena and Huntington.

Relays will come down Unioto, Westfall and Zane Trace. After this it will be Paint Valley, Adena, Piketon, Southeastern and Huntington.

The girls SVC championship will go to Zane Trace followed closely by Unioto. Westfall will have a good meet but will not be able to stay with the top two. Adena and Paint Valley should battle for the 4th and 5th spot followed by Piketon, Huntington and Southeastern.

Boys

The sprints, Hurdles and Distance should go to Unioto followed by Zane Trace, Paint Valley, Westfall, Adena, Southeastern, Huntington and Piketon.

Unioto should out score Southeastern in the field events. Adena and Zane Trace will put up a battle but just will not have the big boys. The bottom four will be Paint Valley, Huntington, Westfall and Piketon.

In the relays Zane Trace and Unioto will push each other. Westfall, Huntington and Adena will fight for the next three spots. Bottom three will be Southeastern, Piketon and Paint Valley.

Looks like the top two in the boys will be a turn around from the girls with Unioto having a chance to win big over 2nd place Zane Trace. Adena, Paint Valley and Westfall will go at it for 3rd through 5th. Southeastern and Huntington will put up some good numbers for 6th with Piketon at the bottom.

TVC

Girls

Sprints, Hurdles and Distance over all will go to Athens followed by Vinton Cty, River Valley, Eastern, Nelson/York, Belpre, Meigs, Miller, Alexander, Southern, Federal Hocking and Waterford.

Fields events will go to either River Valley and Athens. Then comes Meigs, NY, Waterford, Federal Hocking. Vinton Cty, Southern and Belpre will go after the 7th spot. Miller, Eastern and Belpre will finish the last to get into the field event scoring.

Relays will go to Athens. River Valley and Belpre should fight for the 2nd spot. Vinton Cty, Eastern, Meigs and Alexander will go at it for the 4th spot. NY at the 8th spot followed by Wellston, Miller, Trimble and Southern.

The Girls TVC will go to Athens with River Valley taking 2nd. Look for Vinton Cty, Nelson/York and Meigs to take 3rd. Belpre and Eastern will be running close to each other and the 4x400 just might decide what team takes 6th place. Next should be Alexander, Miller, Federal Hocking, Southern, Waterford and Wellston.

Boys

Athens will take the sprints, Hurdles and Distance and just might double up on the 2nd best in these events which should be Nelson/York. Then it will be Vinton Cty, Alexander, River Valley, Eastern, Meigs, Belpre, Waterford, Wellston, Southern, Miller and Federal Hocking.

Fields events will go to River Valley followed by Nelson/York, Belpre, Meigs, Vinton Cty, Miller, Athens, Alexander, Trimble, Wellston and Eastern.

Look for the relays to go as, Athens, River Valley, Belpre, Meigs, Eastern, Nelson/York, Trimble, Vinton Cty, Wellston, Miller and Alexander

The TVC boys championship will go to Athens. Look for River Valley to go over the century mark for 2nd place. Nelson/York will take third. Belpre, Vinton Cty and Meigs will fight for 4th. Next Eastern, Alexander, Trimble, Wellston, Miller, Waterford, Southern and Federal Hocking.
A side note here... With a good incoming freshman class coming in Trimble will have a good chance to move up in the standings.

These are the the six league I will put in to the preview. Some Mid State teams will be in the Stats for 2019 along with about six others. Counting both boys and girls this will be in the area of 150 teams.

None of those freshman are doing track....they all play baseball or softball. Trimble needs a change at the coaching positions for track or that program will just simply dry up and disappear.
