New Green High School Track

[Green Bobcats]

Hello, we are currently in the process of planning and designing the track and field facility at Green High School in Franklin Furnace. I would be interested to know everyone's opinion on what makes a great track for spectators, athletes, officials etc. I have coached for over 44 years and I'm still wanting to learn from others. Also, what are the best local track facilities you might suggest we visit for ideas. I really appreciate it.

haven't been there, but I have heard with Jackson having a track away from the football field is nice.
if it was me and planning on holding big meets I would have more pits for field events. I have been to meets where they have 2 pits for each field event.
