Battle to the season of 2024-Girls

I have picked what I think would be the top 38 teams in SEO. I will stat them up against each other to see who my pick for the top team going into 2024. Each team will be given a number, and they will be put into a hat and drawn to see who plays who. My first two picks came out River Valley against Notre Dame.

After the first four events River Valley jumped out to a 30/07 lead. After eight events River Valley had increased their lead to 37 points 58/21. The next four event shows ND couldn't put a dent in RVs lead 85/41. Over the last five events ND outscored RV 26/24 and RV wins 109/67. RV outscored ND in four out of five categories by double figures. The only category that was close was the field events where it came out 27/26. River Valley stands 1/0 and Notre Dame goes to 0/1. Next two up will be Adena vs Gallia.

Through the first four events Adena held a slim lead of 6 points. The next four events showed Gallia picking up some steam to pull ahead by 4. Both teams battle to even points over the next four events. Going into the last five events Gallia held a slim 4-point lead. Gallia was able to outscore Adena by 12 points in the last events to win 102/86. Only one point separated the two in the sprints. Adena had a big advantage in the hurdles. Gallia made up for the hurdles in the distant races by outscoring Adena by 24. The field events were very close with Gallia getting 2 more points. The relays came up even. Gallia stands 1/0 and Adena goes to 0/1. Next up will be Fairfield and Washington.

Washington vs Fairfield-After the first four events Washington was up by 3. Fairfield came back in the next four events to have a one-point lead with the meet halfway finished. The next four events show Washington outscoring Fairfield 31/17 to take the lead. Washington sort of took over in the last five events to win 108/73. In the sprints Washington took it by 9 points. The hurdles came out a tie. Fairfield took the distant races by 11 points. The field events hurt Fairfield being outscore by 25. Relays came out three wins for Washington. Washington stands at 1/0 while Fairfield falls to 0/1. Next up will be Fairland/Westfall.

Fairland vs Westfall-with the first four events in the books Westfall was out to an 8-point lead. Fairland gained some in the next four events to trail by 3. Fairland scored 27 points in the next four events to go up by 7. The last five events had Fairland out scoring Westfall 30/25 to win 97/85. The sprints came up a tie. The hurdles were won by Fairland. Westfall won big in the distance. Fairfield turned that around when they outscored Westfall by 21 in the field events. Relays went to Westfall 3 to 1. Fairland is 1/0 and Westfall is 0/1. Next is Waterford vs Chillicothe.

Chillicothe vs Waterford-This will be the big school against small school. After the first four events Chillicothe took a quick and big lead 29/06. Chillicothe outscored Waterford in the next four events 31/14 to lead 60/20. Waterford did better in the next four events as Chillicothe increased its lead by four. Chillicothe put their foot down with a 42/15 last five event to win 128/57. The hurdles and relays were Waterford biggest problem getting outscored 44/0. Field events became Waterford best events as they were only outscored 32/24. Chillicothe goes 1/0 with Waterford at 0/1. Next two team will be Wheelersburg vs Huntington.

Wheelersburg vs Huntington-Two small schools that seem to have very good teams each year. Both teams scored well in the first four events with Wheelersburg leading 23/15. The next four events went almost like the first four with Huntington getting one point closer and trailing 45/38. The next four events showed Huntington outscoring Wheelersburg 30/19 to take a 68/64 lead with five events left. The next five events had Wheelersburg winning three of the five and pulling the meet out 96/90. Wheelersburg won the sprints and the Field events where Huntington won the distant events. They tied in the hurdles and Relays. Wheelersburg is 1/0 and Huntington 0/1. Next up will be Marietta vs Northwest.

Marietta vs Northwest-The first four events had Marieta jumping out to a 32/06 lead. Northwest didn't do much better being outscored 34/11 to trail 99/17 halfway through the meet. Marietta didn't let up as they led 104/28 with twelve events scored. The Tigers finished up with 38 points in the last five events and Northwest scored 17 to finish with 45 with Marietta winning 142/45. Marietta scored big in every category to run away with it. So far Marietta has mounted the most points and biggest spread. Marietta 1/0 with Northwest 0/1. Next match up will have Vinton Cty vs West Union.

Vinton County vs West Union-First four events couldn't be much closer with VC up 21/20. The next four events saw VC starting to get going when they outscored WU 27.50/15.50 to have the score at 48.5/37.5. In the next events WU sort of hit a wall and only scored 9 points while VC was getting 32 for an 80.5/46.5 lead. VC started to put it away while holding WU to 9 points in the last five events to win 120.5/55.50. VC scored be in the Distance and Field events. Vinton Cty 1/0 West Union 0/1. Next meet will have Zane Trace vs Fort Frye.

Zane Trace vs Fort Frye-after four events Fort Frye has a 28/14 lead. At the halfway point Fort Frye is up 22 points after outscoring Zane Trace 26.5/18.5. With five events to go Fort Frye is up 79.5/58.5. Over the last five events Fort Frye outscored Zane Trace 33/20 to win the meet 112.5/78.5. Zane Trace won just the field event. Relays were won by Fort Frye 24/0. Fort Frye goes 1/0 and Zane Trace 0/1. Next up is Athens against Peebles.

Athens vs Peebles-Athens built an 18-point lead after the first four events. Halfway through the meet it was Athens building their lead to 36, 58/22. With five events to go the girls from Athens have jump to a 60-point lead. The last five events showed Athens out score Peebles 38/16 to win the meet 132/50. The sprints were very close with Athens taking them 20/19. The field and relays were the biggest point getters for Athens as they out score Peebles 66/16. Athens stands at 1/0 and Peebles at 0/1. Next tow up will be Logan vs Miami Trace.

Logan jumps out to a 30/8 lead after four events. Logan outscored Miami Trace 21/11 in the next four events to lead 56/27 halfway finished. The next four events were good ones with Logan getting the edge 35/21. Logan came away big in the last five events by a 41/15 score to win 132/59. Distance, field and relays were big for Logan as they and a 94/23 advantage. Unioto vs Chesapeake is up next.

Unioto vs Chesapeake-With four events finished it was Unioto 26 and Chesapeake 10. Two relays in the first four cost Chesapeake 12 points. The next four events showed Unioto increased its lead to 20 points. The next four events saw Chesapeake pick up more points than Unioto to trail by 14. The last five events had Unioto scoring big 40/15 to win the meet 110/71. The distant evens put a hurt on Chesapeake with them being outscore 30/3. Chesapeake did win the field events 31/29. Unioto 1/0 Chesapeake 0/1. Dawson-Bryant will take on Minford in the next matchup.

Dawson-Bryant vs Minford-First four events didn't go well for Minford as Dawson-Bryant outscored them 22/9. At the halfway point it is 56/18 Dawson-Bryant. With only five events to go Dawson-Bryant had a 65-point lead. In the last five events Minford only scored 10 points in falling to Dawson-Bryant 134/35. Dawson-Bryant dominated all five categories. Dawson-Bryant 1/0 and Minford 0/1. Next up will be Eastern W. and Hillsboro.

Eastern W. vs Hillsboro-Didn't take long for Hillsboro to flex its muscles against Eastern taking a big lead after four events 32/6. Over the next four events Eastern was outscored 34/14. Things didn't get any better with Eastern only picking up 10 points in the last four events. Eastern did better in the last five events but Hillsboro did too outscoring Eastern 38/22 for a final score of 139/52. Hillsboro just dominated from start to finish. Hillsboro 1/0 and Eastern 0/1. McClain and Nelson/York come out of the hat.

McClain vs Nelson/York- McClain didn't take too long to start with a 26/11 first four event. A 34/9 run aloud McClain a 60/20 halfway lead. Another big jump from McClain with a 94/29 lead with five events to go. Nelson/York just couldn't get going in this met as McClain finishes big and wins 136/42. McClain dominated in all five categories. McClain 1/0 and Nelson/York 0/1. Next two up will be Waverly and North Adams.

Waverly vs North Adams-After the first four events Waverly looked like they could run away with this. North Adams did a little better leading up to the halfway point by scoring 17 points but trailed 53/26. Five events were left, and it was 72/41. The last five events showed North Adams failing to gain on Waverly and lost 107/62. Waverly ran away in the Sprints, Hurdles and Distance. Waverly 1/0 and North Adams 0/1. Warren vs Rock Hill next.

Warren vs Rock Hill-Warren looks strong this year. The first four event they dominated Rock Hill 32/6. Things didn't get any better for Rock Hill as Warren outscored them 34/11 to lead at the halfway point 66/17. Warren just kept added to their score. With five events to go it was 102/32 a 70-point lead. Last part of the meet it showed a difference of 42/18 in Warrens favor that meant a 144/50 win. All five categories were just about run aways. Three categories Rock Hill was held under 10 points. With the 144 points scored by Warren they now have the top point amount in a meet. Next up will be Fairfield Union and Logan Elm. This will be the first in-conference match up.

Fairfield Union vs Logan Elm-The first four events looked like Logan Elm could be in trouble with them trailing 32/0. Fairfield Union outscored Logan Elm 27/18 to take a lead of 59/24 with half the meet over. The next four events showed Fairfield Union wasn't slowing down with a 99/36 lead. Fairfield Union was just too much for Logan Elm outscoring them 34/23 in the last five events winning 133/59. Fairfield scored big in all five categories. Next match up will be Circleville vs Jackson.

Circleville vs Jackson-First four events saw Jackson score in three for 12 points, but Circleville scored in all four to get 25 points. Circleville outscore Jackson in the next four events to have a 56/25 lead halfway through the contest. The next four events didn't get much better for Jackson as they trailed 90/40 going into the last five events. Circleville didn't let up in the last events and came away with the win with a 133/52 score. Circleville won four of five categories with getting a tie in the hurdles.

All teams have played one contest. 2nd round of numbers goes in the hat. Next match up will be Notre Dame vs Adena.

Adena vs Notre Dame-Adena starts out fast with a 29/9 lead after four events. The next four events saw Notre Dame go scoreless in three of the races and Adena build a 58/21 lead. Both teams score well in the next four as Adena went up 85/42. Over the last five events Adena out pointed Notre Dame 28/25 to win 113/67. Adena record goes to 1/1 as ND falls to 0/2. Notre Dame won the hurdles and lost the distant races by 2. Next up will be Fairfield vs Westfall.

Fairfield vs Westfall-This was looking to be a good meet after four events Westfall was up 18/13. Difference here was the two relays won by Westfall. Still a very close meet with Westfall outscoring Fairfield 25/20 giving them a 10-point lead at the halfway point. Over the next four events Westfall could only gain three more points for a 66/53 lead. Last five events saw Westfall to do their best of the meet outscoring Fairfield 35/22 for a 26-point win 101/75. Westfall ups their record to 1/1 as Fairfield drops to 0/2. Next match up will have Jackson against Logan Elm 01 vs 01.

Jackson vs Logan Elm-Jackson came out and took a 22/15 lead in the first four events. Logan Elm took the next four events to trail by one 41/40 after eight events. With it down to five events Logan Elm had managed to take the lead 71/58. The last five events had Logan Elm out doing Jackson by 12 points to win the meet 104/79. Jackson took the sprints, hurdles and the relays while Logan Elm took the other two categories. The field events are what helped Logan Elm with them outscoring Jackson 42/18 and the distant races 28/08. Jackson falls to 0/2 while Logan Elm improves to 1/1. Next two out of the hat will be Waterford vs Rock Hill.

Rock Hill vs Waterford-Waterford jumped out to a 34/13 after four events. Leading up to the mid-point Waterford outscored Rock Hill 25/18. With five events to go Waterford has a 39-point lead. Rock Hill started coming back in the last five events when outscoring Waterford 34/22 but came up short 113/86. Rock Hill is 0/2 and Waterford is 1/1. Waterford won the Sprints, Distance and Relay. Next two will be Nelson/York vs North Adams.

Nelson/York vs North Adams-With the first four events over North Adams has a 18/13 lead. North Adams outscored NY 34/12 in the next four events to lead 52/25 at the halfway point. Events 9 thur 12 went to N. Adams 20/15. With five events to go it is 72/40. Final score was North Adams 103 to Nelson/Yorks 63 as N.A. outscored NY. 31/23 in the last five events. Nelson/York falls to 0/2 and North Adams goes to 1/1. Nelson/York won the Hurdles and field events with North Adams taking the other three. The distance and Relays hurt NY with NA winning big in those two categories. Next two up will be Huntington and Eastern W.

Eastern W. vs Huntington-Huntington jumped out to a 24/14 lead after winning three of the first four events. Eastern came back in the next four events to take the lead 43/41 at the halfway point. With five events to go Huntington is back in the lead 70/63. In the last four events Eastern outscore Huntington 36/20 to win the meet 99/90. Next two out of the hat will be River Valley against Northwest.

River Valley vs Northwest-River Valley wins the first four events to lead 28/10. River Valley outscores Northwest 32/13 over the last four events to have a 60/23 lead at the mid-point in the meet. Another big four from River Valley has them out in front 90/40 with five events to go. The last five events were very close at 24/28 in favor of RV. and they win the meet 118/64. Sprints belonged to RV, Hurdles went to RV, Distance came out a runaway for RV. Northwest pulled out the field events and River Valley took the relays. Next two up will be West Union against Chesapeake.

Chesapeake vs West Union-West Union takes the lead after the first four events 21/19. West Union extends their lead to 43/28 at the halfway point. Chesapeake gets things going by outscoring West Union in the next four events 36/14 to lead with five events to go 74/52. The last five events came out 23/1/ for Chesapeake to take the win 97/69. Field Events were the big killer for West Union being outscored 12 points. Chesapeake goes to 1/1 and West Union falls to 0/2. Next two up are Zane Trace vs Minford.

Minford vs Zane Trace-both of them were just about even in the first four events with Zane Trace with a two- point lead 20/18. Next four events showed Zane Trace outscoring Minford 25/18. With five events to go Zane Trace has an 81/45 lead. Last five events were close, but Minford wasn't able to gain on Zane Trace as the score came out 110/67. Zane Trace pulls even at 1/1 while Minford falls to 0/2. Next up will be Gallia vs Logan.

Gallia vs Logan-Logan jumped out of the box fast in the first four events to have a 32/6 lead. Another tough four for Gallia as they were outscored 32/13 for a 64/19 midway lead for Logan. With five events to go Logan is up 100/35. The last five events had Gallia doing better with Logan outscoring them 36/22 and Logan winning 136/57. Out of the five categories Gallia's best was the field events. Next up is Peebles vs Miami Trace.

Miami Trace vs Peebles-Trace outscore Peebles 28/10 in the first quarter of the meet. Miami scored 30 points to Peebles 13 to lead 58/23 at the have way point. With five events to go it is Miami Trace 86/42. Peebles was outscored 34/19 in the last five events and Miami Trace breezes to the win 122/61.Peebles did well in the Distant races winning by one point. The sprint was their next best only getting outscored by one point. Up next will be Circleville vs Washington.

Circleville vs Washington- 19/19 after the first four events. The next four events saw Circleville put a little difference in the score by outscoring Washington 27/15. With five events to go it was 81/51 Circleville. The second half of the meet had Circleville outscore Washington 65/44 to win 111/78. The distant races were what hurt Washington the most being outscored 28/07. Waverly and Fairland are out of the hat.

Fairland vs Waverly-Waverly took an 18-point lead in the first four events. Fairland outscored Waverly in the next four events 27/18 to make the score 46/37 at the halfway point. With five events to go Fairland came back within three points after outscoring Waverly 52/37 over the last 8 events. Waverly pull the meet out after outscoring Fairland in the last five events 31/25 for a final score of 96/87. Field events and relays is what cost Fairland. Marietta vs Vinton County is next.

Marietta vs Vinton Cty- First four events showed a close meet with a difference of 6 points in favor of Marietta. At the halfway point it was still close 45/38 Marietta. With 12 events scored Marietta has opened up some breathing room by outscoring Vinton Cty 33/12. The last five events were really close as Marietta wins 107/84. Sprints and hurdles gave Marietta the win with a 43/22 advantage. Next up will be Chillicothe vs Fort Frye.

Chillicothe vs Fort Frye-After the first four events it looked like a runaway for Chillicothe with the score 30/8. At the halfway point it looked the same with Chillicothe out in front by 35. With five events to go it was 84/49. Chillicothe was outscored in the final five events but didn't come close to changing the results 110/77. Relays was the most damage for Fort Frye as they were outscored 24/00.

Athens vs Wheelersburg-Two well-known programs meeting here. The first four events went sort of shocking with Athens jumping out to a 26/12 lead. Athens kept it going through the next four events leading 57/26 at the halfway point. Once again Athens piles up big point and lead after 12 events 94/38. Wheelersburg put some strong point up in the last five events, but Athens still increased their lead and won 127/61. The distant races and the relays killed Wheelersburg getting outscore in those two events 54/08. McClain vs Unioto next.

McClain vs Unioto-Unioto scores in all four of the first events to lead 25/17. McClain comes back in the next four to outscore Unioto 26/19 to trail by one point. After 12 events McClain has gone in front 70/66. The last five events had Unioto outscore McClain 30/28 but that was two point short as McClain wins 98/96. McClain 2/0 Unioto 1/1. Next two are Fairfield Union vs Dawson-Bryant.

Dawson-Bryant vs Fairfield Union-This should be a good one. Fairfield Union outscored Dawson-Bryant 19/18 in the first four events. In the next four events Dawson-Bryant put 31 points up to Fairfield's 14 to lead at the mid-point 49/33. In the next four events Fairfield Union came back some when outscoring Dawson-Bryant 27/23 and trailer 72/60. Dawson-Bryant had a big last five events to pull away from Fairfield Union and win 108/81. Out of the hat comes Hillsboro vs Warren.

Hillsboro vs Warren- Two strong programs-Both teams came out fighting winning two events each and was tied 19/19 after four. Over the next four events Warren was able to pull a head but only by 3 points 43/40. 9 through 12 events showed Hillsboro coming back to tie it at 66/66 with five events to go. The last five events were a dandy. With two events left Warren was up 88/84 with the one field event to come in before the 4x400. With Hillsboro having a faster 4x400 time they needed the field event to come back with five points to put them only five points back and a win in the 4x400 would give them the win. Hillsboro only manage four point to give the win to Warren by one-point 95/94. Next up will be Minford and Peebles.

Minford vs Peebles-Minford takes the lead after four evens 18/17. Minford won both relays. Peebles outscored Minford in the next four events 20/19 to be in a tie halfway through the meet. Minford didn't do too good over the 9 through 12 events as Peebles out score them 26/09 to lead 63/46 with five events to go. Minford made a small come back but failed and Peebles wins 84/72. Peebles won the Sprints, Hurdles and Distance. Next match up will be Notre Dame 0/2 vs West Union 0/2.

Notre Dame vs West Union-West Union started out big with a 24/12 lead after four events. At the halfway mark West Union has increased its lead by 2 44/32. Over the next three events Notre Dame caught fire and out-scored West Union 26/07 to take a 58/53-point lead. Notre Dame over the last nine events outscored West Union 56/23 to win 88/69. Notre Dame won the Sprints, Hurdles, and the field events with the relays coming out a tie. Up next will be Huntington vs Northwest.

Huntington vs Northwest- Real close meet after four events 19/19. With five events to go it was 80 for Huntington and 52 for Northwest. Northwest put the effort out there but couldn't catch up as Huntington wins the meet 104/76. Huntington won the Hurdles, Distance, Field and the relays were a tie. Fairfield and Jackson will play next.

Fairfield vs Jackson-The lady Ironmen took the first four events 20/15 as they won the 100 hurdles, 100 meters and the 4x200. Fairfield was able to gain a point with winning the Discus and the 400 to come within 3 at 41/38. Jackson put their lead back to 4 as they won the long jump and the 300 hurdles. Neither team did the pole Vault. Jackson up 61/57. Team played to an even score in the last five events that gave Jackson the win 86/82. Jackson won the Sprints and the Hurdles. Fairfield won the distance and the field while they tied in the relays. Nelson/York and Rock Hill coming up.

Nelson/York Vs Rock Hill- Rock Hill gets out to an early lead with winning two relays making the score 23/14 after 4 events. Rock Hill continued adding to their lead by winning the 1600, one relay and the 400 and they led 51/29 midway through the meet. The 800 and Pole vault went to Rock Hill as they now led 80/45 after 12 events. Rock Hill went on to win the meet 115/65. Stats for NY showed some events for NY only had one runner and a couple events no one. Hillsboro vs Unioto will be up next.

Hillsboro vs Unioto-Hillsboro win three of the first four events to take a 21/17 lead. Over the next four events Hillsboro once again took three of four. At the halfway point it is 50/33 Hillsboro. Unioto final put some things to gather being outscored only 24/20 to trail 74/53 with five events to go. The last five events saw Hillsboro do what they did all day long and that was to win events. They put three more in the books to win 106/79. Hillsboro won four of five categories. Fairfield Union vs Miami Trace is next.

Fairfield Union vs Miami Trace-Fairfield Union wins three of the first four events to go out in front 23/15. Miami Trace outscored Fairfield Union 24/21 and Fairfield has the lead after eight events 44.39. Fairfield Union went crazy in the next four events outscoring Miami Trace 40/12 while winning all four events. With five events to go it is FU 84/51. Fairfield Union finishes the scoring with a 26/22 advantage to win the meet 120/73. Fairfield Union took the Sprints, Hurdles and the Distance. Miami Trace won the Field events, and they tied in the relays. Wheelersburg vs Logan Elm are up.

Logan Elm vs Wheelersburg-The first four events showed they split them with Wheelersburg getting the most points and leading 23/15. Logan Elm outscored Wheelersburg 28/17 and lead 43/40 at the halfway point. Teams split 9 through 12 with Logan Elm a head 73/59. The last five events had Wheelersburg winning three of the last five events, but the margin wasn't enough to get the win as Logan Elm takes this one 98/95. Nest two will be Fort Frye vs Jackson.

Fort Frye vs Jackson- Teams split the first four events with Jackson coming away with a 22/12 lead. Fort Frye took three of the next four events to come within four of Jackson 41/37. Fort Frye outscores Jackson in the next four events to get closer 65/63. They split the next four events making the score 90/85 Fort Frye with the 4x400 the last event. Jackson takes the 4x400 giving them the win with a 91/90 score. Jackson took the sprints, hurdles and the relays. Gallia and Westfall will be the next match up.

Gallia vs Westfall- Teams split the first four events giving Gallia a 26/12 lead. Next four events were also split with Westfall gaining five points. Gallia extended its lead to 27 after they took three of the next four events. With five events to go it is 79/52. Final score was 109/81 for Gallia. Next up Zane Trace vs Chesapeake.

Chesapeake vs Zane Trace-The first four events came up a split with Chesapeake on top 21/17. Zane Trace took three of the last four events for a 55/28 lead. After 12 events it is Zane Trace 78 and Chesapeake 57 after they split 9 through 12. In the last five events Chesapeake took the first two event to close at 87/71 then Zane Trace took the last three events to win 105/87. Zane Trace only won two categories but the two they won made a difference of 62/31. Eastern W. vs Waterford

Eastern W vs Waterford- Waterford won three of the first four events to lead 22/13. Waterford leads at the halfway point 47/33. Waterford has won nine of the first twelve events to lead 75/51 with five events to go. Eastern took four of the last five events but couldn't catch Waterford who won 95/88. Waterford won the Sprints, Field and relays. Adena vs Vinton Cty is up next.

Adena vs Vinton Cty-Vinton Cty wins two and ties one in the first four events but still trailed Adena after four. Teams split the next four as Adena had a 45/37 lead at the halfway point. Adena stretches its lead to 74/60 by taking three of the last four events. Three of the last five events went to Vinton Cty but wasn't enough as Adena wins 99/91. Adena won two categories and tied two. Fairland and Washington face off next.

Fairland Vs Washington-Washington jumps out to a big lead in the first four events 32/06. Teams split the next four event as Washington outscored Fairland 29/23 for a 22-point lead after eight events. Washington leads 81/49 with five events to go. Washington won four of the last five events to win 114/71. Washington won three of the five categories. Those three categories mounted to an 86/34 difference. Next up will be North Adams vs River Valley.

North Adams vs River Valley-River Valley won three of the first four events to take a 26/09 lead. Out of the first eight events River Valley has won six and lead 57/27 halfway through the meet. With five events to go it is River Valley 84 North Adams 43. North Adams won three of the last five events but wasn't enough to catch up as RV won 100/69. River Valley won four of the five categories and tied the other one. Next up Logan vs Washington.

Logan vs Washington-Logan wins three of the first four events 26/12. Teams split he next four making the score 51/29. The next four events went to Logan 37/15. Fairfield Union vs McClain- This should be a good one. The first four events were split with McClain taking the one hurdles and the 4x200 with Fairfield Union leading 20/18. Once again, the teams split this time Fairfield Union took the 1600/400 and lead 43/41. Fairfield Union managed to get some breathing room as they took three of the next four events to take an eleven-point lead. The thirteenth event went to Fairfield Union that allowed them to jump to an eighteen-point lead. The next four events came out a split with Fairfield Union getting the edge with a score of 21/13 and the win 104/88. Score wise Fairfield Union won three of the five events and tied one. The biggest point difference came in the field events with McClain winning 43/22. Marietta vs Gallia is up next.

Gallia vs Marietta- Teams split the first four events with Marietta taking the early lead 22/16 with wins in the 100 hurdles and 4x100. Teams split again in the next four events with Gallia winning the Discus and the 4x100 out scoring Marietta 24/21 but trail 43/40 after eight events. Athens vs Zane Trace-Athens wins the first four events to take a 32/04 lead. Athens makes it seven out of eight events won as they put their lead up to 64/17 at the midway point. This might be the first meet where a team hasn't reached 20 points at the halfway point. Athens keeps it going as they win their 10th event out of 12 to lead 98/36 with five events left. Athens goes over the 100-point mark in the thirteenth event 108/39. The last five events were won by Athens as they win 138/53. The ladies from Athens won 15 of 17 events. All five categories went to Athens with the field events being the closest 35/30. next two teams will be Dawson-Bryant vs Jackson.

Dawson-Bryant vs Jackson-Teams split the first four events with Dawson-Bryant leading 20/15. This is where thing just might have started to change as Dawson-Bryant takes the next four events to go up 54/26 at the midway point. Over the next four events Jackson was able to win one and tie one and trailed 84/44 with five events to go. The last five events showed Jackson was out classed in this one. All five events went to Dawson-Bryant with the points going 45/12. DB took four of the five categories with Jackson taking the hurdles. McCLain vs Warren-After the first four events Warren manage a four-point lead 23/19. Over the next four events McClain outscored Warren 26/19 to go out in front 45/42. With five events to go McClain held a one- point lead 69/68. Event thirteen showed Warren tying the meet 75/75. The next four events had Warren outscore McClain 29/16 to win the meet 104/91. McClain won three categories, but the difference was much closer than the two Warren won. Next two Minford vs Nelson/York.

Minford vs Nelson/York-A meet between two shot handle teams. The first four events were splint with Minford coming out with a 18/13 lead. Next four events show Minford taking two events and tying one for a 42/31 lead. With five events to go Nelson/York has come within eight points 53/45. Going into the last event we had a 68/68 tie and Minford wins the 4x400 o win 74/68. Minford won the sprints, distance and the relay. Fairfield vs Northwest next.

Fairfield vs Northwest-Fairfield won two events and tied one for a 20/17 lead after four. Fairfield won three of the next events to take a lead of 45/37. Fairfield has extended its lead to 67/53 after twelve events. With three events to go Northwest has taken the lead at 73/72. Northwest could only manage three points over the last three events to fall 97/76. Fairfield won the hurdles, distance and the field while tying in the relays.

Rock Hill vs West Union-Rock Hill takes three of the first four evens to take an early lead 20/13. Teams split the next four events, but Rock Hill adds to their lead 49/33. With five events left it is Rock Hill 82/45 after taking three of the last four events and tying the other. All five of the last events go to Rock Hill with them winning 121/59. Rock Hill won all five categories. The field events were the big ones with Rock Hill winning it 43/15. West Union was just outnumbered. River Valley vs Waverly is next.

River Valley vs Waverly- First four events was close with teams split the four and Waverly has a 20/18 lead. At the midway point River Valley came back winning three of the last four events to jump in front 42/41. Waverly didn't let that bother them by taking the next four events 33/16 to go out in front 73/58 with five events left. River Valley was only able to tie in one of the last five events and lost 112/73 taking this their first loss. Looks like the distant races are the ones that hurt RV as they lost the category 28/13. Logan vs Logan Elm-Logan wins three of the first four events to have a lead of 26/12. Teams split the next for as Logan has a 54/29 lead at the midway point. Logan was able to take the next four events and with five events to go Logan leads 92/43. Logan finishes up with four out of five and wins the meet 130/59. Chillicothe vs Unioto-Chillicothe took three of the first four events, but the wins were thin as after four it was 21/17 for Chillicothe. Once again Chillicothe takes three of four and Unioto keeps it close 46/36. Next four events were split as Unioto gained to come within six. 68/62. With two events left Unioto has come back to tie at 84/84. Chillicothe finishes out by taking the next two events 14/05 to win 98/89. Unioto won just one categorie and it is what kept them in the meet as they outscored Chillicothe 28/11. The relays were what beat Unioto with dropping three of four. Marietta vs Miami Trace-The first four events were split with Miami Trace taking the lead after four 23/15. Miami Trace took three out of the next four to go up 54/29. Marietta came back and took the next four events 33/19 to pull within eleven after twelve events. Marietta wins their seventh event in a row to take the lead 90/83. The last field event comes in and it is for Miami Trace and pulls then within four of Marietta. The 4x400 wins this one for Miami Trace and the meet 97/95. Adena vs Athens next.

Adena vs Athens- Athens wins the first four events to take the lead after four 27/11. Athens wins three of the next four 32/12 to lead at the halfway point 59/23. Athens has won ten of the first twelve events to lead 93/42 with five events to go. Athens wins fourteen events to win 134/58. Marietta wins their seventh straight event to lead 92/49 with five events to go. Marietta finished the meet by winning twelve straight event and the final score was 129/67.Marietta won all five categories. Chesapeake vs North Adams next.

Chesapeake wins two events and ties one in the first four events. North Adams wins two and ties one in the next four events making the score 37/36 in favor of Chesapeake at the halfway point. This time it was Chesapeake winning two events and tying one. With five events to go it is Peake 66 North Adams 55. North Adams wins the thirteenth event to get the score to 71/63. The high jump went to Chesapeake to make it 77/67. North Adams wins the 3200 to tie the score at 77/77. The last field event came in a tie and the score was 83/83. The 4x400 went to North Adams as they won the meet 89/83. Fairfield vs Waterford is next.

Fairfield Waterford-Both teams won two events in the first four with Waterford getting the lead 18/13. Waterford take three of the next four events to push their lead to 46/31. With five events to go it is Waterford 83/50.Waterford take three of the last five events to win 113/74. Waterford take four of the categories. Jackson will take on Unioto next.

Jackson vs Unioto-Unioto take three and ties one in the first four events to have the lead 25/12. Over the next four events Unioto take three to have a 55/26 lead at the halfway point. Both teams win two each in the next four events as Unioto goes up 83/43. Unioto take four of the next five events and ties the fifth as they win 122/73. Unioto wins four categories' Sprints, Distance, Field and Relays. Logan Elm and Notre Dame next.

Logan Elm Vs Notre Dame-Logan Elm wins the 4x800, 100 meters and the 4x200 to go out in front 28/09. Logan Elm wins two more events and ties one to up their lead to 57/26. Notre Dame wins two events and ties one to make the score 81/50. Logan Elm wins the next three events and leads 103/63. Last field event came out a tie and Notre Dame wins the 4x400 and Logan Elm wins 109/75. Logan Elm wins four categories' Sprints, Distance, Field and Relays. Rock Hill vs Zane Trave is up next.

Rock Hill vs Zane Trace-Rock Hill wins the 100 hurdles, 100 meters and the 4x200 to take the early lead 24/12. Zane Trace takes three of the next four to close in on Rock Hill 44/37. Zane Trace wins the long jump to tie the meet 47/47. Rock Hill come back and wins the 300 hurdles to go up 54/53. Zane Trace wins the 800 to go up 63/57. Zane Trace wins the pole vault to extend their lead 72/62. Rock Hill wins the next two events to come within 81/78 with three events to go. Zane Trace wins two out of the last three events to win 99/91. Rock Hill wins three categories' Sprints, Hurdles and the relays but it wasn't enough to make up for the difference in the Distance and Field events. Fairfield vs Gallia is next.

Fairfield vs Gallia-Gallia wins the 4x800 and the 100 meters and they tie in the 100 hurdles. Gallia wins the next three events to add to their lead 49/33. Gallia wins two more and ties one. Gallia is up 78/52 after twelve events. Gallia wins the 200, high jump and the 3200 to win the meet 115/72. Fort Frye and Fairland are up.
