Vinton County Chamber of Commerce golf scramble

McARTHUR — The 2011 Vinton County Chamber of Commerce golf scramble will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Franklin Valley Golf Club.

In addition to being a fun day for local golfers, this is one of the Chamber’s most important fundraisers.

Registration is set for 8 a.m. with a shotgun start set for 8:30 a.m.

Cost is $50 per person or $200 per (four-person) team.

The registration fee covers 18 holes of golf, lunch, refreshments, prizes and cart rental.

There will also be some skill games.

Tee sponsorships are $100.

Organizer Carl Knox invites all area golfers to register for the event.
