Under new ownership, all sand traps have been professionally redone and redesigned over a three week period
and looking wonderful. Greens are running fast and true. Get the kids out and enjoy the
tournament.

This tournament is a great experience for all junior golfers. My 7 year old played last year. He loved the prizes and the food. Also the prizes are top notch for our area. I also felt it was well ran and all the kids had fun. Whether your kid is a first time golfer or a seasoned vet I think they would enjoy this tournament.

We had about an hour delay but were able to complete it.

Rob Canady (Gallia Academy) posted a 73, followed by Nick Saunders(Gallia Academy) 75, Corey Arthur(GAllia Academy) 76and Derrick Gilmore (Gallia Academy) 77in the 16-18 year old division.
Rob Canady is the only one of the top 4 eligible to return to this tournament next year. Also, these were 4 of 5 of Gallia Academy's golf team's 3rd place State Tournament
D2 finish so the field may be more open in 2013.

13- 15 year olds were led by Dares Hamid (Gallia Academy) with a fine 79 followed by brother Taae Hamid (Gallia Academy) and Zach Graham (Gallia Academy).

11-12 ages were led by Point Pleasant's Bryce Tayengco, followed by Josiah Brewer (Eastern) and Talon Osborne (Piketon).

9-10 year olds were led by Point Pleasant's Dylan Tayengco, followed by 7 year old Maddox Camden (Rio Grande Elem) and 7 year old Leith Hamid (Green Elem).

All kids received registration gifts while division winners received Kiwanis Juniors at Cliffside golf towels with their age group and year embroidered on them.

Personalized towels were presented to past and outgoing tournament champions, Rob Canady, Nick Saunders and Corey Arthur

This was our largest group of kids and with some extra prizes given, the various areas of the state represented, the improvements to the golf course by Jake Hall and his family,
hopefully this was a big step in growing this tournament for the kids.

A truly special thanks to our sponsors most of whom have supported us from the beginning and without whom we could not offer the prizes and format for the kids and parents.
