Lions golf tourney set June 29

Gallipolis Lions Club Golf
Tournament slated June 29

The annual Gallipolis Lions Club golf tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, starting at 8:30 a.m., at the Gallipolis Cliffside Course.

Deadline for registration is Monday, June 24.

Cost for sponsors is $100. If an individual or business is member of Cliffside, it’s $50. For non-members, it’s $60.

Jeff Fowler, president-elect, said “the Lions Club needs your support to help sight-related and other projects in the Gallipolis area.”

Individuals wanting to donate items or gifts should mail them to PO Box 436, Gallipolis, Ohio, 45631. Club members are currently seeking sponsors and players for the 2013 event.

Free refreshments will be served during the tournament.

Gallipolis Lions Club had perfect weather today for their 15th annual golf tournament at Cliffside. Had 32 players, lots of sponsors , gifts and great food.
