Logan Elm defeated the Lady Chiefs on Thursday night, 4-1. Once again, Logan' Alicia Clark was the lone winner improving her season record to 5-0. The Lady Chiefs now hold a 2-3 overall record. Important note, pointed out by Craig Dunn, LE extended their regular season winning streak to 37, haven't lost since 2012.

Hey man,

I know Logan Elm for a very long time did not have on-campus courts up until a couple years ago. That is what really amazes me about the accomplishments of the Lady Braves tennis team. My question to you is this...

Do they compete Southeast District for girls tennis too, or Central? Not to take anything away from their accomplishments, as I would've liked them to win their districts assuming they've been competing in the SE, but I can only imagine how that "lightning in a bottle" success they have had would've fared against a CSG or New Albany *frown*.

Logan Elm competes in the D2 SE District. But, the winning streak only accounts for the regular season.

Marietta defeated Logan 4-1, I believe Alicia Clark was the only Lady Chief to record a win. And that keeps her undefeated on the season. Logan drops to 5-5 overall.

It was a great season for the lady chiefs as they finished 9-8. There season ended at sectionals last night. Two for the lady chiefs won matches at the Central Sectional. Alicia Clark won her first two matches with ease cruising along to the sectional final against the district's #1 seeded player, and dropped the match. Logan's Reed also won her first match of Sectionals but eventually lost in the second round.
