Why did Portsmouth get to re-punt late in the 4th??? Jackson took over after a punt to the 38...but for no explained reason got to re-lick it and took it down to the 20 yard line....which of course led to a short punt and great Portsmouth field position....then 29 yards of penalties for a go ahead Portsmouth TD.

Jackson gave away every ounce of momentum in 2nd half special team play....85 yard kick return, snap over punter's head.....and penalty after penalty in the 2nd half.

Great final drive with 3 quick passes for about 50 yards to set up teh game winner by Mullins.

Very good away win.

not sure why we re kicked,,there semed to be some confusion on whether wwe touched the ball and downned it or not..........but the whisltle clearly blew the ball dead,,but Jackson picked the ball up and ran it in for a TD,just to be safe....after a long meeting with the refs,,they came up with the famous"do over"

anway,,,great game...it was good to se our kids come out after half time,and play hard,,and even take the lead,,after we couldnt do anything in the first half.

congrats to Jackson on the win,and the 4 - 0 start to the season.



really impresed with the way Angelo Jackson is running the ball for the Trojans,,,,,,and haveing JALEN KENNEDY back, has been big.

I would sure love to see us throw the ball a LOT MORE to Kyle Simpson though, this kid has some great hands,,and is capable of breaking lose every time he touches the ball

Couldn't be at the game tonight, but what a game I missed! Congrats to the Ironmen. Sounds like it wasn't pretty in the second half, but they found a way to win. 4-0!

WOW, WHAT A GAME! Great win for Jackson. Tough penalty on the Trojans. I don't know if I could handle another tough loss after the Buckeyes and Bengals let me down this past week.

first what a game that is what high school football is all about. #9 for portsmouth played a great game ran behind the line on the right side and gained a ton of yards in the 2nd half.

The reason for the "do over" was there was never a change of possesion due to the inaverted whistle that the back judge blew. Due to the ball never been officially downed they had to replay the down. No different had it been a fumble or pick!!

Jackson showed a very good spread offense tonight, good balance of plays and was good to see what we can do when down at the end of a game. Threw the ball allot that put us in great position for the field goal. Mullens has a great leg even at 75 to 80%. A very good 1st half got a little lazy to open the 3rd but the kids fought back with some very good coaching!!!! Great Game and a Great Win!!
