Paint Valley disappointed me friday, losing to a very suspect Adena team.
I might not pick them to win again for the rest of the year.
Piketon wins this one.

Piketon. However, Piketon always struggles with the Bearcats. Anything can happen.

P-Valley I believe still has three maybe four starters out so with that in mind I have to go against my fav coach and say Piketon,28-20.

Piketon wins 26-20 in a thriller of a finish, unless you are a Bearcat fan! PV controlled this game from opening kick until midway of the 3rd quarter. Up 13-6 PV took the 2nd half kickoff for an 80 yard Td, Piketon kept chugging along, but managed to get the offense going, and the D stiffened up when they needed. Piketon rattled off 20 unanswered point to win this game. Congrats to the Streaks, good luck next Friday for homecoming against Adena.

LOL

Great effort by the Redstreaks Defense last night. I was also impressed with the intensity in which Paint Valley played last night. Hats off to Pete and the boys. This game could have gone either way. Was a great team effort by the streaks.

BengalFan,

You are only in HS once these kids need to enjoy all of it.

I didn't say do away with it. I said as a coach it is a distraction. Just like Prom in the spring for baseball and softball. Homecoming activities at some schools are a major distraction making it hard to keep the kids attention on the task at hand. I know they are in HS only once, and need to enjoy it. Trust me. :-D

Just saying, we are all pretty guilty of taking HS Sports way too seriously. I think everyone needs to remember to let the kids be kids while they can.

Life is hard enough.

Go Streaks.
