I expect a tough game for Minford as they travel to Raidiger Field. Waverly is hungry and the Falcons needs to re-focus themselves after blowing out Northwest last night. This will be a tough game but I have confidence in the Minford coaches to have the Falcons ready for this game. I expect the intensity in practice will pick up a little this week as Minford cannot have a let down. GO FALCONS!

I agree RG1965 the boys will have to take this game one play at a time, and cannot overlook this tiger team or we could have another game like Oak Hill.

Everyone wants to see us fail.....Its up to us to stay on top.

minford should have no problems in this one. playing away might hold them down for a bit....but it won't last.

How is Minford 6-2 if they have only lost one game?

They had to forfeit the win against River Valley because of playing an ineligible player.

This is going to be a big test for C. D, and the boys. To go into Waverly and play is always tuff. Waverly has everything to gain, and nothing to lose. They will be ready to try and take Minford out of the SOC race. A win here, will make their season, a lot easier to swallow.

Again it is going to come down to ole' number 7, he going to be the key. When he has a good game, Minford looks good. When he has a bad game, the whole offense is off. Minford running backs will always run hard, but #7, has to have a good game for Minford to win.

I think Minford's defense will really be tested Friday. I think Waverly will throw the whole play-book at them, and try to find anything that will work. Waverly will try passing, and running, to find any weak spot they can. And even a trick play or two.

I'm sure it will be said a hundred times this week, WHICH TEAM WILL SHOW UP. Because we have seen Minford play great, and we have seen them play bad. I hope the boy's will be ready, and come out ready to play a very good Waverly team. Waverly has some very good ball players thay can hurt you on any play. They won't lay down and let you walk over them, they will be ready.

Good Luck to both teams!!!

Minford 35
Waverly 14

I expect Wavelry to throw the kitchen sink at us as far as offensive play calls. Minford must remain disciplined and focused.

As long as Minford doesn't come in over confident they should win by 2-3 tds.

I don't see Minford having any problems with Waverly. As much as I'd like top see Waverly win so the Burg could get the much needed computer points, it just isn't going to happen. Waverly has no running game at all. Burg shut down the run almost completely up until the time I left early in the 4th quarter. If Roback is still out at QB then the passing game isn't that strong either, it's not bad, but not near as strong as it is with Roback back there. The Burgs running backs ran amok on Waverly with Shankweiler getting 210 and Craigmiles 139 and I see Slone and company getting similar numbers, plus Minford throws the ball really well and the Pirates had receivers open all night but our QB couldn't hit them. I don't see Oesch having the same problem.

I look for the Falcons to score early and often in route to a very impressive victory.

Waverly gives Minford a good game early and tests the pass defense. I thin Minford will try to run the ball and also work on the passing game some more. I'll take Minford by about 3 td's.
