Hoping Van can pull off a stunner so Beallsville doesn't have to sweat out squeaking in at 8th in region 25.
It's going to be close, I think 4 or 5 other schools still have mathematical shot.

Van is 3-5 right now. I dont know about how good their competition has been. However their quarterback has rushed for 1000 yards and thrown for over 900 in eight games.

18 kids on their roster.

I think it will be a war.

With a win can SG jump to #7?

Believe the Rebels will take this one, and then have to anxiously wait the results of some other games to determine who takes that 8 seed in region 25. Fairfield Christian Academy has a big one against Fisher Catholic. Could a win there have South Gallia on the outside looking in?

Unless there is some major ( I mean huge) upsets , I don't believe the rebels will have the points to hold off the teams behind them. That belpre game possibly could keep the rebels out of the playoffs. That being said the rebels need to win to have a chance.

Rebels 24-14

I remember watching South Gallia play up at River a few years back in the playoffs. Met some nice folks from SG.

That being said, Rebels may have hands full with Van.
Van had a 2-game win streak end with an OT loss, then it was beaten by unbeaten Clay-Battelle.

If I were a betting man (which I am) I'd say Rebels cover the 6-point spread.

My predition is the SG gets in at the #7 seed and travels to Trimble again to face the Tomcats.

1. Shadyside
2. Trimble
3. Steubenville Central Catholic
4. Malvern
5. Southern
6. Caldwell
7. SG
8. Beallsville

Outside Looking in:
9. Fairfield Christina Academy

Personaly think if SG wins they are in but, with a little help they could be going to Trimble.

I hope SG don't have to make the trip to Shadyside (3hrs & 10 min).

Good luck tonight and in the post season!

The Rebels had one of the the biggest improvements that I have seen in a season form the first few weeks of the season to game 10 . The players and coaching staff should be proud of the job they did. Would have been nice to have seen this group get to play in the play offs but did not happen!

Congrats to the Rebels on a good season!
