Yea it don't matter if it's a 0-7 Ironton team beating them still has a lot of meaning for a lot of teams because they are the benchmark of what your program wants to be. It's like a young fighter beating a out of shape came out of retirement ex champ. Beating them although it might not mean what it would 10 years ago still means a lot to a lot of teams.

I can back up TigerCannon's post. I have two younger brothers that teach at 2 different OVC schools and both of them say that all their schools are talking about is that they "can beat Ironton this year". There is no mention of "make the playoffs" and never a thought of "win a state championship". It's all about beating Ironton ..............

I disagree. If rock hill wins, I think it would mean more if it was against a strong playoff team or the old ironton.

I don't know about football, but Rock Hill's Band is definitely dying to show off what a professional marching band looks like!

I never thought I'd see this day that this was a league game. and ironton be considered the underdog, yet here we are. I hope they have a clean, good spirited game that's a slobberknocker.and everybody comes out healthy.

Ironton isn't an underdog in this game. Rock Hill is an improved team, but they are still 30 point underdogs to the Tigers. A lot of times we say one team will name the score. In this one if and its a big IF the Tigers actually decide to play and not take plays off and the coaches let them run the ball Ironton can win this game by 30, but if it's the same team and same stuff we have seen all season then it will be a close game and the Tigers will win by 6-10 points.
