Logan and Jackson renew rivalry in 2019

I agree with the poster above this should be a Week 1 game for Jackson, and if not Logan then Athens should be Week 1.

Ditch the Wellston game, move it to a scrimmage or jamboree.

Great to see these 2 rivals playing each other. Would be great to see Jackson and Athens schedule each other, but looking at Athens 2019 schedule, there's not a game currently scheduled for Athens that I'd want them to remove other than Week 1 that's currently open, but possible to be filled by Warren. 2020 is possible for the series to return if it can work out for Week 2 if Canal Winchester and Athens do not continue their series unless Jackson drops Wellston to a Jamboree game in 2020 (appears Jackson-Wellston scheduled through 2019 season), and picks up Athens Week 1 while Warren-Athens move to a different week.

Messed around on Excel a bit and thought, what if Jackson and Gallia Academy (currently Week 3, Logan future Week 3) were able to continue to play each other, but in Week 4. Yes Gallia Academy is in the OVC and conference play begins Week 4, but Ironton plays Ashland, KY in Week 4 and Fairland in Week 3 so if you tweak the conference schedule around a little (it's achievable) and Gallia Academy played Ironton Week 3 and was able to play Jackson Week 4. Fairland would see its game with Ironton moved to Week 9 and everyone else's Week 4 and Week 9 matchups flip flop so that Week 4 opponents are now played Week 9, and Week 9 opponents are played Week 4 with the exception of Ironton-Gallia Academy being Week 3.

Point Pleasant and Gallia Academy playing Week 3 in 2019 ruins this, but it's certainly achievable for around 2021, and Point Pleasant can be a Jamboree game. Jackson's non-conference schedule would be Wellston, Athens, Logan, Gallia Academy, and Wheelersburg though I agree Wellston should move to a Jamboree game.
