Green 34 Eastern Pike 14
Green 34 Eastern Pike 14
See no one has started the thread but it's being talked about a bit elsewhere in a playoff thread. So what is everyone's thoughts?? Green at 6-1 and Eastern Pike sitting at 4-3 winners of 4 straight. Green has 1 conference loss and Eastern Pike is still undefeated in conference play.
Re: Green (6-1)@ Eastern Pike (4-3)
Eastern Pike has some good skill kids. Green will have a tough time beating Eastern Pike.

Re: Green (6-1)@ Eastern Pike (4-3)
I know it's not on the level of say West and Waverly game this week, but for these 2 schools it's a big game green especially. Green currently sitting at the #5 seed in the playoff race and can't afford a loss here. Big game for them in terms of playoff points. For Eastern they really haven't beaten anyone that is going to help them with a push for a playoff spot yet. A win against Green will keep them alive in the playoff picture and keep their SOC conference title hopes alive. Just going off of common opponents I have to think EP is 3-4 tds better than Green, team that wins the LOS is going to win this one as Green wants to really run that ball and control the tempo of the game. Good luck to both teams
Green (5-1) @ Eastern (4-3)
Eastern has won 4 in a row and will be 4TD favorites against the visiting 6-1 Bobcats
Bobcats could make a huge statement if they can pull off an upset

After the fall against ND, I see Eastern by 14.
Doing the right thing is rarely easy.

Re: Green (5-1) @ Eastern (4-3)
I think this game is a tough one to predict. No question it is an important game for both teams but I think for different reasons. Green for playoff points and Eastern for the league race. Both teams have really not beat anybody with a decent record. Of Green’s 5 Wins (excluding West Union Club win), their opponents are 5-23. In Eastern’s 4 Wins, their opponents are 6-22. As mentioned above I think it comes down to Green’s line. If they can block Eastern up front then they have a chance to keep the ball away from Eastern. Eastern seems to be scoring a lot of points lately.

Eastern. If Green couldn't stop ND's running attack, I don't think they can stop Eastern's balanced offense.

"Must Win" game for both teams for different reasons. Go with Eastern at home in a scoring fest.
Re: Green (5-1) @ Eastern (4-3)
Green playing well 14-14 at half but Green’s back Alec Smith out of game with bad shoulder. Hope they can help him get his shoulder back in place ..

A 4TD. Favorite?
I wish Vegas set lines like that so I could win some money taking the points.
