Tanner Holden is single handedly winning this game. No real dominance on either side but two big plays by him have opened it up.

If West can shut down Holden, I wouldn’t be surprised if Burg doesn’t score more than 7 points in the second half. They haven’t really moved the ball other than the three big plays. These teams match up surprisingly well.

West is probably around 0 net yards if you take away the big run

I would like to see the stats because I don’t think Wheelersburg is very far ahead of them. I’m surprised how well West’s D-Line has been playing.

West have maybe 2 first downs?
With there lost yardage plays they don’t have many yards
Burg has 150 yds on 3 plays

Burg scores on pass to Holden from the 13 and a 2 pt conversion by Matthews for a 28-7 Burg lead.

We’re not all involved in that kind of behavior, but at least they were creative with it. 😂

Just curious, but how many holding calls have been called on the Pirates tonight?

Burg didn’t cover the spread. That’s a win in my book!

28-7 final.

I don't see how the Burg can go far with all the holding penalties they draw. It will be a short run. I thought the Burg had better coaches to let this go on game after game.

Great win Pirates! Keep that SOC trophy in the Burg.

I love how Chuck Greenslate said after the Burg scored that final TD, that was called back for holding and moved the Burg back 10 yards that West did a great job of holding the Pirates out of the endzone Really Chuck!!! Burg had quite a few big plays called back because of holding and I never heard West have the first one, but hell, everyone knows homering only happens at the Burg. SMDFH!!!!!

as for the shirt, not surprised.

Really??? Did West have any at all?? If they didn't I'd like to have you explain it to me how one HS team out of two on the field can have a boat load of holding calls and the other none??? Impossible to do at any level. I had a fried of mine who was a football official tell me he could call holding on almost every play in HS. That's how bad it is.
